Never Been In The Shop For Any Type Of Repair. Gas Milage Is Great. I Average 28-29 Mpg — Fun car to drive. kick it in manual and it feels like a sports car. traction control work awesome in the snow. I test drove the 2.0 turbo and with this 2.4L high output engine, I didn't feel much difference so I opted to save some money and go with this.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I just love the body style on the 2011 Kia optima. This car drives real smooth and quiet on the highway. it feels just like it did when I drove it off the lot.

Cons: No cons here. I love this car.

Fun, Fast, And Reliable — I love everything, speed and handling. Small motor with big bite. Shift able automatic and very nice navigation system with rear view camer. But sad to see it didn't come out in manual. Hopefully one day kia will decide to make one for the market.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Interior room.

Cons: Only comes in automatic

Best Car I Ever Had — I have 3 cars in my entire life. I am 19 and so far the KIA Optima is the most reliable vehicle I had not only that but it definitely has a luxury look to it so is also very stylish as well as economic.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks like a high end vehicle but you still drive something that is a lot cheaper and perhaps more reliable than anything I had in the past!

Cons: Is a large sedan so you have to get used to driving it around and parking it in small areas. But very space full.

Fantastic Machine — At 1st I said I would NEVER own a KIA!! Boy was I surprised when I took it for a road test. I went back to the dealer and drove home 2 hrs later in my new Kia. Wanna talk about fast....when that turbo kicks in its like a rocket. No as fast as my 911 but it would give it a run for the money!! Style, dependability, inexpensive maintenance and speed all in 1 car.

Pros: Style

Cons: NONE

Great Car...great Price! — SLeek body Style mid size car with lots of room to drive with comfort...I have owned 2 Brand New KIA's..one in 2005 and my New 2011...I will always Stick with The NEWEST INNOVATIVE and STYLISH KIA O!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This car is EXCELLENT....YEAAAAAAAAAA KIA ! It gets looks from everryone...everywhere I go....Great Highway Car!

Cons: I did have the option to add a roof and I miss having that...also my particular car did not have Fog lights..I was told KIA wont make a KIT for Add on Fog lights.....So I miss those two features in my own KIA..... My next KIA will be FULLY LOADED!

Best Car For The Money...period. — This car makes you feel like you are driving a high-end BMW or Jag. It makes Lexus owners want to cry. Do yourself a favor and test drive one. You will go home a believer. P.S. I am a real person and this is a real review...not some con job from a dealer.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This car is an OUTSTANDING value! With the luxury package you get a dual panoramic sunroof, heated and cooled front seats. Heated rear seats. Heated steering wheel. Memory driver's seat. Push button start and keyless entry.
The car looks fantastic and has a standard 200 HP GDI engine.  Bluetooth is standard along with a refrigerated glove box. It is a pleasure to drive and turns heads every where you go. 10 year 100K powertrain warranty. All for under $28K.

Cons: The factory tires are a little noisy. Instrument lighting on steering wheel and door controls is too dim.

Great Car, A Must Buy. Kia Is Here To Stay! — Wish I had more power, but it's in the SX trim with its 2.0L Turbocharged engine. Love the car though. Great room, great milage, great look. Kia's new direction is incredible and the prices for what you are getting is unbeatable.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Not much, just the power, but that is available in the EX and SX trims.

Fun To Drive — Great looking vehicle inside and out. Very fast for a 4 cyl even with the Turbo, mpg as stated, averaging 31 with mixed driving. Great for a care this big. Comfortable, and well appointed.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A lot of car for the money

Cons: No negatives, only positives

Excellent Car That Still Turns Heads After 4 Years And 40,000 Miles. —

I bought this Kia as a replacement for a 2008 Infiniti M, and I have previously owned Cadillac, Chrysler, Buick and Acura. I was blown away by the power, style and comfort in this Kia, especially compared to the luxury brands I was considering. I have options on this car that I cannot get on some more expensive brands at any price. This Kia has smooth power and rides/handles on par with my Infiniti, while getting much better gas mileage and it runs on regular. I am really surprised how much I enjoy this car compared to the more expensive brands I had been driving. Update: At 36,000 miles I replaced the Nexen tires with Uniroyal Tiger Paws. The Nexens were not completely worn out, but were no longer safe for winter driving. The gas mileage has improved to 28 city and 38 highway, with about 32 mpg overall. Synthetic oil has always been used, so I attribute this excellent mileage to this. The ECO button was also used about half of the time. The leather and mesh seats show no wear at all. I was concerned the mesh would be a crap collector and discolor easily, but it is still clean and sparkles in the sunlight. The heated and cooled seats are the best of any car I have owned, and I recently added another new Buick to my garage with heated and cooled seats and the Kia has it beat. Although, the Kia seats are quite hard and buying the Buick has made that even more noticeable..

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Exceeded all my expectations at a bargain price. After 4 years this car is still a head turner and a joy to drive.  I still love it.

Cons: After 4 years this car has had two issues. The check engine light came on at 4,000 miles.  The fuel injectors and fuel rails were replaced under warranty.  At 38,000 miles a gas leak from the high pressure fuel pump.  The pump and the gas line were replaced under warranty.  Otherwise, the car has been rock solid and Kia service has been excellent.  Although, speaking of rock solid, the seats are very firm.  Too firm.  This is unique to the 2011.  New more comfortable seats were put in for 2012 because of many complaints about how hard the seats were initially.
