I change the battery in my 2010 Hyundai Sonata now all the service lights are on on the dashboard and my radio, and AC will not work.

Ive owned my 08 Santa Fe for 15 years and never had an engine or transmission issue. It has 190,000 miles and runs great.
When it came time to help my stepdaughter find a reliable used car I searched for the same vehicle.
We found this 2010 Santa Fe fully loaded. (Blue tooth, powered seats, fog lights, USB port and remote start). A huge plus was the tires were new and the car looked brand new. Not a scratch, rot or dent!

Larger than my last SUV, so some getting used to it. Radio needs to be rebooted, dealer dropped the ball, they also only gave me one key and no key fob. Very disappointing but not the cars fault. Seems to approach 18 mpg so far, in line with EPA estimates. comfortable and solid feeling for a 110 thousand mile vehicle. Apr 29, 2022

Well having a 1st generation Santa fe for 10 years. I loved it so much. The 2nd generation was an upgrade. You just have to know what you want and all cars have issues. Do your problem research this vehicle only has 5 issues. The 07 to 12 Santa fe will last you a long time. Enjoy this vehicle it will do you right. Jan 27, 2022

Despite that the vehicle had one minor accident, which I checked out well prior to my purchase, this car has proven just as reliable as the three Honda Odyssey vans I have owned...would definitely buy one of these again! It was an adjustment to get used to the smaller cargo area after owning three vans, but the Santa Fe's cargo area is still quite generous. Beyond routine maintenance, this vehicle (now with 80k miles) has required nothing. I didn't go for the 4WD, as I buy snow tires at Sears (with road hazard) for all vehicles I own. I know it's a pain to install/remove them each year, but that's what works for me!!!Nov 03, 2014

Loads of pep, and the gas mileage is pretty decent with the V6 and the AWD. There is a nice option to lock the transfer case for true 4WD. The 18 inch wheels look good, until you have to buy tires, and the handling is pretty good for a smaller SUV. The Limited Edition has all the bells and whistles, including heated seats, power sunroof, reclining rear seats and power/heated mirrors to name just a few. A respectable towing capacity is also a bonus for anyone wanting to tow a small tent trailer or maybe a quad or snowmobile for that weekend getaway. Overall, not a bad vehicle. I'm still looking forward to getting it really off road to see how it handles some mud and snow.Oct 08, 2012

There is no road grip or as they call it stability on road and this creates issues and risks on road.
Otherwise good vehicle with appearance and gadgets. capacity is good, improvement in seat covers would make it great.

Performance: 5 Stars
Excellent acceleration with the 275 HP V6. Brakes and steering seem to work real well. Ride is a little bit bouncy at times due to standard 18 inch tires.
Build Quality: 4 1/2 stars
No squeaks or rattles. But the tailgate doesn't always close on the first few attempts and the key FOB doesn't always open all the doors with two quick clicks.
Appearance: 5 Stars
Restyled front nose for 2010 makes the exterior look of this car a real winner. Front dash, leather interior and blue tooth are awesome!

I have a 2010 Santa Fe, my heater/air conditioner will just come on by it self. I will push the off button and at times it will just come back on. I have replaced my battery (it would not turn over) over the weekend. Put it is still doing this. My mechanic say he has never heard of this happening.

Radio goes on/off randomly
I've been having problem with my 2010 Santa Fe radio recently. I've read a lot of stuff about what the problem could be, but haven't seen many answers to fix the problem permanently...just possibilities of....whatever! So far, the only thing I've read about fixing the problem was to change the radio. I know for sure, it can't be a lose wire. If it was the case, the radio would shuts off every time I hit a bump and it doesn't. In fact, there are no precise moment when the radio shuts off...it happens anytime even when the car is stationary and sometime it doesn't shut off at all for like an hour or two. A lot of people seem to believe the problem could come from the fuses, but no one has ever confirmed that changing them fixed the problem. As far as I'm concerned, the fuses are well connected, but I haven't changed any of them yet. Considering that the problem seems more common than I expected, is this a manufacture problem or does it take particular environment to end up with that problem. Thanks
