I was driving my 2010 acura tl. All of the sudden the motor had no power but all my lights air everything electrical stayed on. I pulled over but the car will no longer start. Tried to jump it thinking it was the battery...no luck. I have checked the fuses and the gas pump dose turn on. When I try to start it it turns over but that's it. When trying to start it the starter dose get hot. Any ideas on wha tit could be? Thanks in advance!!!
2010 acura tl wont start, sayimg steering wheel locked
My stereo intermittently stops working, even the power button will not work, and when it seem to be working, I tried to click any of the buttons and it stops from working again. it's a random case, during the problem my Bluetooth to the phone works but my Bluetooth multimedia does not work.
I had my normal Acura 105K maintenance in June 2019. Spark plugs, transmission flush, AC and etc (my timing belt, water pump were done at 60K miles). I was at the dealership on Tuesday, 8/13 for a leak in the front right tire. There was a hole on the inside of the tire. I also had leaking grommet's on 2 other tires. I opted for new tires vs. replacing one tire and 3 grommets. I noticed a burning small that night when I got the car home. I thought it was new tires on hot pavement. I walked around the car and saw nothing and no strong odor. I noticed the smell again Wednesday. Today I drove to work and the burning smell was very pungent inside the car. When I parked I saw gray smoke coming from the hood of the car. More toward the right side. I was able back the car up and saw a black oily substance. I am thinking it was oil; I am not sure. Do you think it is a seal? I have never had the issue with the car before.
