I was looking for a highly rated, safe, dependable car with nice looks and good gas mileage. This Ford Fusion met all of these criteria; with the added bonus of lower than expected miles on the odometer.

I loved having this as a first car. It drove well and set the bar high for my next car. It has lots of height and room it fit my 67 foot tall brother in the passengers seat comfortably.

Best Car I Ever Owned — This Ford Fusion is the best car I ever owned. Its price was very reasonable, it gets up and goes, it gets over 20 miles to the gallon, handles like a GT racer and best of all looks GREAT. I've driven the car almost 80,000 miles now and haven't had any problems other than reg maintenance.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: everything

Cons: nothing

Stylish And Functional — I recently purchased this car and so far I am impressed. For a 4cyl it does get up rather nicely. I've had no issues with it. It's not a sports car, but this is a nice car to have. The interior is comfortable and everything is easy to reach.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It doesn't get up like my old impala, but i definitely like this car more.

Cons: It's a 4 cyl.

09 Fusion — great car handles well on the road, only con is that steering is sometimes harder compared to the new cars out now. The fusion brand from ford is here to stay. no mechanical problems since i owned the car, bought from dealership about 3.5 years ago

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great car drives good and has sync technology...

Cons: steering and gas pedal hard to depress

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: pickup is good for a 4 banger

Cons: system checks

Great Car —

This car has been incredible. Fuel economy is adequate but cruises like its big brother the Crown Victoria. The ride is very smooth, nimble steering and performance makes this car a dream on the road. Braking is more than adequate and is very responsive in wet and dry conditions. The car feels tremendously safe and has a big car feel in a smaller car package. Visibility is adequate. The interior has many positive features along with a good stereo, heater and AC etc, The upholstery is the one drawback in my book. It causes the driver to feel warm and seems to radiate heat to the driver and passengers. The interior is well equipped and does not employ the use of rattle ridden plastics, but uses more fortified materials to avoid that cheap feel. Styling on the exterior is excellent. under the hood, it is easy to replace the air filter and perform your own maintenance as needed. The trunk provides a spacious cargo area providing room for a family to pack and travel for extended periods. Overall, the car is a gem and in my opinion, is a great fit for singles and medium size families. Great for the commuters as well as the weekend users. Buy it. You will not be disappointed.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Styling, performance, long trip cruising, feel and handling

Cons: Upholstery, seat comfort

Great Car — plenty of passing power on the highway but just begs for another gear in the tranny, ford did add a 6th gear in the 2010 model but for 09 the 5 speed is great on the highway but quite slow off the line loads of space and an incredibly smooth ride fuel economy is fantastic on the highway and still really good in the city but you have to remember this isnt a compact

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: style, comfort, stereo is awesome, nice highway power, gas mileage

Cons: slow off the line, tranny second guesses its choice in gear

Pretty Great Car All Around And Great In Crappy Weather. — The inline 4 cyl has the acceleration of a v-6 and I have actually beaten a few cars with v-6s in them. No trouble with the quality of the building. I love the style of it, especially the inside. The seats are nice and comfortable. Gas mileage is great for not being a hybrid and the maintenance is cheap. But I do a lot of the maintenance myself. The car is always fun to drive and I've taken it on a few road trips across the country with my dad on one and friends on another.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I've never heard of anyone that has had one have any problems and have always loved them.

Cons: Nothing
