Wonderful — liked the gas mileage, sounds great with an exhaust, looks amazing, very reliable never had to take to a shop for maintenance once. great price for the car. heated seats were great in the winter. car handles and rides like a dream. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: great gas mileage, perfect handling, looks nice, comfortable seats with alot of room, fun to drive, reliable. Cons: lack of power |

Great Sports Car For The Price. — The torque and handling of this car is quite good. The AWD is excellent for improved handling in the warm months and is amazing in the winter. It should be noted that this car doesn't handle as well as the non-turbo subarus in the winter due to it's increased torque. All around great car would recommend, especially for areas that receive snow. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great driving position, great handling, good power, great in the snow, torque to weight ratio tops all cars in it's price range, tons of cargo space with seats down. Cons: Smaller turbo than the 09, insurance cost, |

Perfect Daily Driver For People Who Like Fast Cars — Great all around car. Also very upgradeable for those who love performance. Stock out of the box it is fast enough to get you in trouble, yet civilized enough to drive daily and not be targeted by the cops. Highly recommended for those who need a performance oriented daily driver. Plus, the AWD is GREAT and the boxer style 4 sounds awesome. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Power, handling, brakes, aftermarket Cons: Gets only O.K mileage for a 4 cylinder |

My Subaru Wrx 5 Door 2008 — Performance: Awesome acceleration with the turbo, the handling is precise and the AWD makes it perfect for any conditions Build Quality: That's the main drawback about this car. There are a lot of squeaks and the quality material is very cheap (if you compare to a VW golf 2011 for example...). The clutch pedal squeaks. I even had to repair a button, that disappeared in the dashboard when i pushed it... But everything is reliable, no bad words there. Appearance: Everyone likes it. Especially in red (very rare). I like the look of the hatchback, without the look of a Yaris. I have to say the gas mileage is not very great. That's because of the turbo and the AWD system... there's a price for having fun! I like this car a lot, for it's acceleration, it's AWD system and great sound! Pros: Turbo, AWD, good looking, reliable, sound. Cons: Interior quality, passenger seat is very low |

Why Wouldn't You Want One? — fun and sporty, but good for normal daily driving, and cruising with friends. great handling, and very quick. good on gas mileage, even when not granny shifting all the time. great styling. nice interior. great options available. overall an awesome machine! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: quick with great handling Cons: a little on the heavy side, too much body roll |

I Enjoy My Car — good over all performance a few rattles in the winter time but nice on the inside it looks a little bland but good for cops ont noticing gets roughly 25mpgs not too bad I love driving the car every day. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: fun car to drive easy to mod Cons: 09+ got a performance boost |

Up To Personally Preference Whether You Want To Get A Wrx Or Sti. Do Your Research. — The WRX and STi are very tunable cars. It is very easy to install standard bolt ons. They produce a lot of power for such a small displacement motor. I've owned mine brand new since march of '08. Got the basic bolt ons producing about 300 whp. The acceleration is great, very quick, especially when the turbo kicks in at 3400 rpm and hold boost til red line at 7k. Prolly need to upgrade the brake pads to some Hawks since i've done a little bit of auto-x and drag for time. The handling is superb. I've upgraded the suspension, its lowered and i've stiffened up the sways. Its always a blast to drive it! rain or shine. snow. night or day. bring me whatever elements and i'll drive thru it. give me some corners to carve! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: fast, fun, absolute blast to drive on curvy roads Cons: the only disappointment i have is that it doesnt snow enough and not enough curvy, fun roads. |

Great Little Wagon — I have a 2008 Outback Sport, not a WRX. The car is good for going around town and dirt roads. Definitely not a race car or anything like an STi. Could use a 5 speed automatic, the 4 speed isn't fun and it revs way past redline. Lots of road noise on the highway but you get used to it. The suspension is great and I like how it is higher than a normal Impreza. Overall great car for an outdoors person like myself. Soon i plan on buying an 05 STi so it will be great. Subaru for life. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: The awd is awesome! Cons: The road noise and transmission. |

A+ — 1. Performance - acceleration is plenty fast, braking could be a bit better, some body roll around sharp corners. 2. Build Quality - Few Squeaks/Rattles 3. Appearance - Both interior and exterior styling great 4. Cost of Ownership - Reliable, Premium Gas required 5. Fun Factor - Yes, Spirited and responsive Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Acceleration Cons: None |
