Very Reliable Car! — This car has plenty of space for our growing family, and has plenty of headroom. This car is very reliable, needing nothing but general maintenance. It's handling is superb, and the towing capacity is impressive for a crossover SUV. All around great vehicle!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lots of space and headroom, very reliable, solid build, great towing capacity for a crossover!

Cons: tail lights have been known to collect water

Exceptional Value For The Price Conscious — this is a people pleaser. has good build quality, performs well as a daily driver and gives you decent gas mileage. i bought this one pre-owned and saved a bundle. has a good warranty even though i am the second owner. it still smells and drive like new and since the styling is the same as the 2011, great deal, i am well pleased

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: quality and cost of ownership

    Cons: none

Buy One Now, It's Worth It. — The VeraCruz is the common man's gift from god to compare against the Mercedez, BMW's, and the Oldsmobiles, and any other high class, high costing, gas eating, automobiles. It drives fantastic, accelerates quickly, brakes on a dime, and handles like a much more expensive vehicle. It's built to last and all the extras are worth it. The Sound System with all its speakers, makes for cranking it up with good jams. It looks "ausgescheitznet" inside and out. Gas mileage is good for its weight at around 20-21 mpg. Very low maintenance. And basicly it is fun to drive.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The sound system is worth every penny, nickle, or dime.

    Cons: Low MPG

Luxury For Less — This SUV is very nice... looks alot like the Lexus. The limited has alot of nice extras. It drives much better than the Santa Fe, for not much more money. The 7 seats are nice for carrying someone other than just the family. The extra space with the back seat down is also nice.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very comfortable for the cost

Cons: several technical problems with the onboard video system fixed under warranty

2008 Veracruz : Great For A Family — Moving from a Ford Explorer I am so amazed as to the quality to detail this vehicle demonstrates. The fit and finish is superb, loads of space for kids and their play dates and the dvd player with wireless headphones a life saver. We can listen to our music while the kids watch their movie. Best car I have owned. With free oil changes for life from our Hyundai dealer, icing baby.

    Pros: size, build quality, luxury

    Cons: fuel milage so far

Love My Hyundai Veracruz — Love my crossover, was a great switch from our Excusion! Still have lots of room with the benefits of a smaller car! Better gas mileage, fits in all the parking spaces, fun to drive! I can still fit 7 people, or I can fold down the seats and haul a couch!

Pros: Great size, lots of room, Great handling.

Cons: Only one:  I wish the back glass opened seperate from the whole door.
