Great Full Size Suv For The Money — This is really my wife's daily driver, although, I do have to drive it at times. She loves it. I like it fine, but seems a bit slow to pull off from a stop. Overall, it does what we need and would buy another one.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: We love the size of the EL. We need the extra room behind the 3d row.

Cons: Seems a little smaller than our 2000 Suburban previously owned.

Typical Full Size Suv — I absolutely enjoy driving this SUV. The handling, for it size, is superb. Great luxurious trim level in the Eddie Bauer. Electric folding seats makes it easy to load the back without dealing with heavy seats. Automatic closing rear hatch, closes with a touch of a button, perfect for those cold or super hot days when you're just ready to be in the climate controlled cab.

Pros: Very nice trim.  Comfortable quiet ride.  Great maneuvability.  Plenty of space.

    Cons: Fuel economy

Good Buy, Highly Recommended — I was hesitant to purchase a Ford, but so far so good. My last car lasted for over 12 years and I'm looking forward to the road ahead with this vehicle. If you're on a budget beware however as the fuel economy is substandard.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Newly purchased used.  Handling is good, the V8 engine comes through on this former police car.  Would purchase a second in a heart beat.

Cons: Gas guzzler and quite expensive to fill.

Love My Expedition — Like the looks of the Expedition. Great tow package, able to tow my camper, with a golf cart inside. Like the auto leveling system, not all Expeditions have this. I like the second row captain seats. And third row provides extra seating.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Looks, size

Cons: Gas mileage when towing a camper

Great — This SUV is great. 2 kids and all the baggage fit comfortably. Being the EL I still have cargo room and don't have to fold the third row down. Con's are the rearview mirror is hard to see out the back due to the length. We have an F150 and this is only 4 inches shorter than that but because there is no bed it feels REALLY big. Good brakes.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Roomy very little road noise

Cons: Hard to see out the rear view mirror

One Owner Suv — I love this car and wish I could overcome the fuel efficiency drawback. I purchased the car brand new and it still rides and drives just like it did when I bought it. A new set of tires and a new battery are the only things I have had to replace.

Pros: Very comfortable and smooth riding.

Cons: 18 mpg instead of about 25-30.

'08 Expedition Eb — I have only had the car a few days, so far so good other than watching the gas needle drop like a rock. The fold flat seats are awesome too. I am glad I don't have to haul the seats in and out of the vehicle like Tahoe owners do.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lots of room and the kids love it with the built in DVD player. Comfortable ride.

Cons: miles per gallon should read gallons per mile. No separate subwoofer control with factory radio.

Our Favorite Family Vehicle Yet! — The 2007 Expedition is a great looking, dependable, fun-to-drive vehicle. We've owned ours for 2 years, and at 78,000 miles it still rides smooth and has not given us any mechanical problems. It handles nicely, brakes smoothly and is just an overall wonderful vehicle to drive. We highly recommend Expeditions to anyone!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: We absolutely love our 2007 Expedition! It's been reliable and fun to drive.

Cons: With gas prices being what they are, the gas mileage is the only downside to owning an Expedition.

Perfect Family Suv — I never cease to be amazed at what I can fit in this SUV! I love the spacious 3rd row seating, no other SUV comes close on 3rd row leg room. Numerous seating configuration possibilities. Now if only it had a light duty diesel engine to help with power and fuel economy...

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lots of family space and 4x4

    Cons: Gas
