I Really Enjoy It. Keeping It Once My Lease Is Up. — Acceleration is crazy. Sounds like an airplane taking off in 3rd gear. I have the perfomance kit on mine and I just fly! It is the perfect size, mid-sized coupe with lots of room for everyone and everything. I would put on some 3M protection for my front end...it has some pretty good dings from the rocks. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Fast, fun, good on fuel Cons: Expensive low profile tires, first gear sucks ![]() Looking for a Used ION Red Line in your area?CarGurus has thousands of nationwide listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

Great Fun To Drive — I enjoy driving my redline around, it gets pretty good gas mileage. the steroe is ok, but great with an added sub. Owner for 1 years, 1 months Miles Driven per Year:10,000 Cons: should have researched it better, would have gotten new year. 04 was first year |

Awesome Car That Stands Up To Its Rivals — This thing is so fast. Once you pop it in 3rd gear it flies. Much more torque than the civic SI, and power at that! It is underrated at 205 hp (I have seen dyno sheets of stock IRL's with 212-220hp (about 35 more hp than stock at the flywheel). Super strong Getrag transmission puts the power down beautifully with minimal power shifting jolt. Owner for 0 years, 1 months Miles Driven per Year:18,000 Pros: Torque, insane top end. Many upgrades don't void warranty such as stage 2 pulley (247hp), cold air intake, headers, exhaust, throttle body. And all offered and installed at Saturn dealership. It isn't a ricer because its made by the USA Cons: Wheel spin, short 1st, long 2nd gear, front end can get caught on the curb. Cops hate loud 4 bangers. |
