The 2007 Lincoln MKX is a five-passenger, luxury crossover vehicle known its relative fuel economy (18 city/25 highway for the two-wheel drive trim). Its buyers have the luxury of choosing from nine colors, including one called Creme Brulee. The MKX's competition includes its lower-priced sibling, the Ford Edge, as well as the Volvo XC90, the Nissan Murano, the Acura MDX, the Lexus RX350, and other mid-sized crossovers. Lincoln's target market is empty-nesters, although it's a shame to leave the comfy back seats empty, especially in a fully-loaded vehicle - rear-seat heaters are an option. Standard equipment on both the 2WD and AWD versions covers a lot of comforts. Leather seats are a given, and you can opt to have them heated and cooled; there's even an option to get heaters and reclining seat backs in the second row, too. The MKX (pronounced Mark X) delivers a quiet and plush ride, thanks to its four-wheel independent suspension and abundance of sound-deadening materials. All-wheel drive is available. Standard safety features fill a comprehensive list; among them are dual-stage front air bags with driver-seat position sensors and crash-severity sensors; side-curtain air bags are standard, too.

I really like this car. It is not as sophisticated as I had hoped. It does not have any Bluetooth capabilities so it will not sync your phone. But that is the only thing I do not like. It drives great very easy to get in and out of. I love doing errands, it gets in small parking places with no trouble. I compared it to all the SUV models and I mean all models and the Lincoln MKX stood out the most. I had been shopping for over a year just to find the right one at the right price. I found this older one that had been pampered its whole life. It was owned by Florida snow birds that only used it on a seasonal basis. It took a while to find one with all the bells and whistles but it was worth it. I am very happy with my decision. Mar 09, 2020

Like the handling and convenience of the car. No dislikes. Has plenty of power to get down the road and is easy to maintain. Great handling at night also. Quick on response. Very good gas mileage for in town and on the highway.Feb 18, 2015

not 3rd row seat... I love everything else. the safety is amazing the adaptive headlights are incredible this is a fantastic SUV(crossover) for someone that does not have the needs of the 3rd row seat... I definitely recommend this for youFeb 12, 2012

This crossover is a head turner. The kids enjoy it and all their friends think the car is cool. Plenty of space to haul the 3 kids and the 3 dogs thanks to the hatchback style trunk. Very detailed interior and the Dual Sunroofs are breathtaking.Oct 23, 2009

any one having trouble with a Lincoln mkx 2007 going dead while driving

2007 Lincoln MKX Passenger airbag
Hello, i just got a 2007 lincoln mkx and the airbag light on my dash is on. I also noticed when sitting in the passenger seat the pass airbag light stayed on (airbag off) so im guessing its the sensor. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to bypass the sensor and keep the bag on at all times. I read all through the manual with no answers. Thanks
