Car is almost perfect. I wish they put 8 speed transmission in these things. Besides that I have no real complaints. The power and comfort is unparalleled. A very utilitarian vehicle that is fun to drive. Rare find and in exceptional condition.Jun 05, 2014

This is a fantastic vehicle to own and drive,I think the Tuareg is the better of the 3 vehicles Porsche Cayenne,Audi Q7 and VW Tuareg. It is a solid affordable vehicle that has a great owner retention opposed to the other SUV. Jun 23, 2013

I have owned this SUV for over a year. This thing runs great, only 1 warranty issue so far, the horn burnt out. That said I was on my way to Kingston and called the Dealer and they scheduled me right in!
This things hauls butt, a little hard on fuel but smooth as silk. I have the air suspension and it really softens the ride. A buddy of mine has one without, I can notice the difference.Sep 05, 2008

Good performance for an SUV, stong V6 engine with surprisingly good acceleration, generally well built but with a few little faults that dealer doesnt seem to be able to fix. Very bad dealer service in Slovakia. Very capable off road, specious and comfortable. I would recommend this car to anyone. Aug 09, 2008

The VW Touareg V10 TDI is so powerful and solid. It is the best car I have ever owned, and that is saying a lot because I have owned a lot of really top notch cars. It's lots of fun to drive and it is well-loaded with lots of yummy technology. Mine is in a lovely blue-silver color that is hard to find, and is no longer available in the newer models.Aug 01, 2008

This is the ultimate 4X4. Forget the Rangey and forget Clarkson's or
anybody who's British reviews. This car has saved my life on a couple of
occasions. The only negative is the hesitant turbo in sticky situations (got
me in a mess once) and the instrumentation/ computer. Finally after
sending it a few times to the garage, they've got it fixed. Now its

i have an 06 vw taureg, im having major headlight issues. the inside bulb is a regular h7 bulb, the outside bulb is a HID even though specs say it should be an h9 bulb. can i change out connector?
can i change out the connector in my headl;ight from the hid connector back to a regular h9 bulb connector and install a regular bulb? right now i have no lights because the hids are blowing fuses left and right like immediately when you tyurn the headlights on. i have no daytime running lights, only one light even turns on, then thed other light only comes on whgen you pull back on the switch to flash someone, but it doiesnt coime on when yiu turn oin the brights. makes no sense
