My Subie. — i really like the subaru impreza 06 and 07 because of the look the power and speed its a plus i also like that it doesn't loos value compare with other cars… the only onereazon I'm selling my car its that i always waned to have a car with turbo… and i don't want to do it to this one… can't afford it to be true… besides i got to car and i need something bigger… but this car has everything you look in a car its fast, looks good, its comfortable back and front side, easy to upgrade…. i really love the subie….

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: picks up really quick… in the snow its awesome… its really stable when over 90mph… so and so….

Cons: that i can't add speakers to the space behind the back seat

Bravo Zulu Subaru! — Acceleration is good. handling is above average and braking is good. Tires wear evenly due to Symmetrical AWD. Goes well in winter (snow/ice). Very reliable and safety rating is good. All around a good car to own and drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Acceleration and handling

Cons: Leg room in rear seats is lacking.

Perfect Car For Getting To And From — Acceleration is mild due to lack of turbo. Handles just the same as all Impreza family vehicles. Build Quality is amazing, no major repairs, some minor recalls. Exterior Appearance could use some work, but maintains family styling. Gas mileage could be improved on, but with owning this vehicle, one doesn't think about fuel economy.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fun family outdoor car.

Cons: Lacks performance

Safe — The car drives and handles extremely well. It gives a fun driving experience without the loss of utility. The cost of running it isn't expensive. However, at 52000 one of the head gaskets started to seep. The car is still covered under waranty, so repair is no charge.. its just a little unsettling that this started this early.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun

Cons: inexpensive to operate

Better Than A Corolla — Yeah, okay, it's not that quick and the mileage is pretty low for its size, but it's still fun as hell, especially in the snow. Plus, I think it looks pretty badass. Maintenance is easy, with easily accessible everything, except for the spark plugs. The interior isn't made of super-duper stuff, but it's laid out the right way. Handling is decent, plenty of understeer, but doesn't get unsettled by mid-corner bumps.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: AWD, safety, easy to maintain yourself

Cons: You're a wuss, you require 30+MPG, you don't want a back seat, you want SUPAH POWAH

My Baby Blue — I have to say, I love everything about my car. She starts up great even in cold weather, holds her own against cars that tend to act tougher than me on the road (lol) and I only fill my tank every couple weeks. I love driving it, especially in the snow and my friends love it. I couldn't ask for a better car =D It's my dream car! Beautiful 'blue moon' color. =) (Ps. Perfect chicks car hahah)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sporty look, fun and simple to drive, handles nice, will drive on almost anything nicely except uphill in mud and over ice

Cons: I do prefer the sporty look of the WRX but the body style is still very nice. There is a recall on the passenger seat wiring which they did fix on my last inspection. Tires are filled with nitrogen which is good and bad, not as fast as most Rally-type cars...You still need to treat it like every other car because you will fishtail if the roads are slick or you're in mudd (uphill)

A Champ But If You Want Power Upgrade To Sti — Subies are just hot, there is nothing else to say. Its one of the best cars to own on the planet. You get inside and you enjoy the ride. Awd and the boxer motor what a great combination. Enjoy the subarus

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: AWD and Boxer motor

Cons: None

2006 Impreza 2.5i — 2006 is the nicest looking version of the Impreza. The front is so bad ass. It as a 2.5 liter engine so it zooms. It is very fun to drive. Overall it bis a very good car and I and pleased with it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Performance and looks

Cons: It still does`t compare to an STi

Great Little Ride!! — I bought a 2006 Subaru Impreza wagon a few months ago. Got it as a certified pre-owned with 41,000 on it. This car drives great. Enough power to have fun, but not so much that you'll go broke / lose your license from tickets. Handling is also very good. I have a 5-speed and with a little bit of heal-toe work, third gear cornering is a breeze. Have yet to have it in the snow of a Michigan winter, but if it's anything like my wife's Outback, it will do just fine. My only gripes so far are 1) The radio. Just not a lot of substance there; although my car does have a 6 disc changer, and 2) Size. My previous car was a Hyundai Sonata and while the Impreza is in no way too small, it is just taking me some time to adjust. I really miss having a bunch of small storage nooks up front. Overall, great car. I plan to drive it until it dies.

Pros: Good power, handling and safety. Great MPG for an AWD vehicle.

Cons: Radio; A bit too much road/engine noise at highway speeds; A little shy on interior cubby type storage.
