Amazing sports car...little modifications turns it into a monster. Handles better than my old 911...more planted. You never have to fight it in the corners. My favorite car to date. 2006 Cayman S.

The Hotter Younger Sister. — Great personal sports car, comfortable, fast, smooth and torque strong motor. Reasonable gas mileage, Great shape, be wary of all the bells & whistles, choose wisely... A noticed car on the streets, proud ownership. composed driver that can run with the best of them.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Porsche handling, brakes and power a great driving experiance

Cons: Poor clutch life, expensive to maintain

Beautifully Engineered Piece Of German Art. — I like almost everything about the car, bigger 3.4L engine, sport mode, sport chrono, heated leather seats, surprisingly large cargo space, rare exterior color, best looking wheels available for the time, good sound system, retractible spoiler. I even like the looks of the Cayman more than the 911 of the era. I do not favor the fear of rough roads, parking lots and children being near it that owning a Porsche can bring out in a person. Kind of freaks you out. Maintenance isn't very cheap but it's rarely ever in the shop anyway. These things really are built to last. The guys at Porsche are always very honest and straight forward.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Best looking car on the road for the price. Very dependable.

Cons: Maintenance costs aren't great but it's not a Chevy...

Red Rocket. — Extremely quick and maneuverable, but when you keep your foot off the floor it gets truly impressive mileage and is very smooth and refined. 44mpg on a recent trip through the mountains! Maintenance is quite cheap by exotic car standards. Thus far, just oil changes and a new set of tires.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A very practical sports car that looks like a million bucks! Handles great, looks even better.

Cons: I feel obligated to wash it when it gets a single speck of dust on it. This can be time-consuming.

The Funniest Car I've Ever Driven — The cayman is one of the best looking and best handling cars on the road. I get looks and thumbs up every time I drive it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun car to drive to buy one. The engine is one of the quickest to respond to the foot on the peddle and even in sixth gear the power and quickness is still there.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The look the handling the quickness

Cons: Nothing

I Have Owned Porsches For A Long Time. This Has Been My Favorite... — Best car for the money hands down. You won't find a better driving experience with any other brand and model unless you add a zero to the end of the price. These cars have been extremely reliable for me throughout numerous boxsters, carerras, caymans... All are great as daily drivers and more than great when the road gets twisty.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's what the 911 should be. Light, nimble, mid-engine, perfect weight distribution, powerful all all revs, great exhaust note, more fun to drive than should be legal!

Cons: A little rough of a ride for long trips. Don't expect to take anything back from Home Depot.
