2006 Lincoln LSReview
OREGONRUSSELL writes:
Ill start off with this is the 3rd LS for me. I’ve had a 2003, 2006, , and now another 2006. I thought every one was great. No major problems at all, especially considering it’s age. All 3 cars didn’t have more than 110,000 miles., which of course helps. In my opinion, I believe the 2006 model has most of the problems worked out that earlier models experienced, but as I said, I never had any problems with anyone of them. It’s a hell of a kick to drive. The power of course is well known, but it’s tracking and suspension is amazing. My friend commented that when he took a corner it felt like it was on rails. If you can find a 2006 with less than 120,000 miles and it’s reasonable, do it. You might be wondering about the insurance. I always get the full coverage. Yes would think because of their age insurance wouldn’t pay what the real market is., but in my case you’d be wrong. A year ago I paid $5000 for a 2006 with 105, 000 miles. Last month I was driven off the fast lane of Hwy 8 down a 25’ ravine. The front tires were torn off and I skidded to a stop. I crawled out the passenger door+, my Door was caved in from swiping a 6’ bolder. Had a few minor cots on my exposed shins, but that was all My insurance surprised me. After my $500 deductible, I was awarded $6,700. LS,s are great investments. Lol |

Lincoln Ls — A pretty quick car, looks nice and paint is great. Lincoln build quality not as great as a BMW, but is way faster than say a comparably priced 525i. Gas milage is great on highway, but crap in town. Radio reception is very poor and leather only on face of seats. Looks are nice simple and clean, yet i feel tend to look a bit dated for a 2006. Pros: performance, looks, price, and steering feel Cons: build quality, upholstery, looks, radio sucks |

No I never owned any of these cars, but i have drivin both and would definately choose the Lincoln over the two..I rented the Impala and I couldn't wait to turn it in. The Maxima was nice but did not have as much style and options like the Lincoln. vs2006 Chevrolet Impala
