Sporty & Classy! — Our oldest son uses this vehicle and it is a classy, but sporty car! It handles very well and has enough power to get you moving quickly. We got an extended warranty from BMW for peace of mind being its an older vehicle. We keep it stored in the garage when it's not in use so the top does not fade or get damaged with bad weather. The BMW look is timeless and we are happy with its performance!

Pros: I loved the look of this black BMW Roadster and it is comfortable for two adult passengers.  We were impressed with the trunk storage space.

Cons: It is only a 2 seat vehicle and no auxiliary port for ipod.

Great Sports Car! — The BMW Z4 is a great for days that are sunny and warm so you can put the power roof down. The car is very comfortable and fun to drive. The dashboard instruments are very simple and not hard to use.

Pros: The car is a lot of fun to drive both on the highway and off.

Cons: There is not a lot of room for luggage

Z4 — This is a great car for the money if purchased lightly used as I did. The Z line from BMW is generally more reliable than the 3 or 5 series of the early to late 2000's. Interior fit and finish seems average and rattles like an old truck I used to own. Great fun to drive on a twisty road that is free of seams and tarmac quality changes.

Pros: Zippy.  Compact batmobile.

Cons: Grabby handling with run flats.

The Convertible Ultimate Driving Machine... The E85 Bmw Z4 3.0si — As a successor to the previous generation E36/7 (roadster) Z3, BMW adds a tastes of Bangle-styling to the new E85 Z4. It is indeed a love-it-or-hate-it styling; but after looking at it for a while you kind of get used to it... it does look more proportional, more appealing, and more sexy than the Z3. Step into the car you will find the bucket seats hugs you comfortably while it takes you onto the fwy and windy mountain roads with easy. It is great fun driving this little convertible. You can fit 2 golf bags in the trunk but you do have to squeeze. Overall, this is a great weekend car for a trip to the resort or just for some driving fun.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Handling, power, small size, love-it-or-hate-it styling, convertible, M bucket seats, fun to drive

Cons: Trunk space, utility

2006 Z4 3.0 — Drivers car. Everything centers on the driving experience. Frills if you're willing to pay but the good stuff comes standard. Great styling, and fuel milage. Good reliablity as well! Fun drop top experience and a solid performer! All BMW in a small package!

Pros: Performance F1 style paddles!

Cons: Should come with a better base sound system

"sniper: A Z4 Story" — After having wanted a BMW for most of my life and having test driven three different models (the M3, the 330ci, and the Z4) I finally got my dream car! It gets more attention than other cars--especially with the top down. It's a blast to drive, despite not having that much hp (215, 3.0 liter), it is one fast little car because it is just a little over 3,000 pounds. The brakes are a little grippy, but that's a good thing when you hit 122 like I'm known to do. ;-) Coming from a car that had headers/catback exhaust, and cold air intake, the engines a little quiet for me, but at least I can hear people when they talk! For a little car [2-seater] it has a lot of trunk space--I fit two large suitcases in that puppy!

Pros: Styling, accoutrements, acceleration

Cons: Engine isn't as throaty as say, a 350Z

Awesome In Every Way — I drove my mom's Z4 3.0si with a 6 speed during the summer for awhile when my car was getting a major overhaul and I have to say this was a very fun car to drive. Although people are either turned on or off by the looks, personally I think the car looks amazing. Performance wise there is plenty of power almost everywhere in the power band. I felt it was easy to pass on the highway without having to downshift from 6th gear and a lot of this is due to the weight of the vehicle itself. The manual transmission has nice solid throws and the factory exhaust has a nice aggressive sound although I personally would have a cat-back built. Only downside to this car is it is uncomfortable for tall people such as myself to get in and out while the top is up. I feel that this was the case because I was rushing to get back in and drive it some more.

Pros: Acceleration, 6 speed is great, aswesome motor, unique body style, supportive seats, reassuring ride

Cons: None

Hahahahahaha Yes Damn It"s So Nice — You feel extremely big inside the car but at least everything important is in hands reach, like the shifter you're glasses compartement and of course the central dashboard isn't that comlicated to use (like the 5 series)

Pros: Gorgeous apearance , Nice clutch (easy to find friction point), Convertabile and  huge visibility in the front

Cons: hard top convertable n/a, always hit my left knee cap on the way out of the car, visibility with the top on (in the rear view mirror)ectremely poor just like the z3
