The Original Box! — Great small car, lots of space, easy to park, very good gas mileage, comfortable with passengers, over 180k trouble free miles. Front pads replaced @ 95k, rear shoes repl;aced @ 115k, oil service every 5k. Drive daily as sales & delivery vehicle, love it! Got a set of winter tire and the Xb goes like my Ridgeline (AWD) in the snow. The utlility of the Xb is fantastic, I deliver Baked good in the morning and use for Sales calls in the afternoon. I do have a trailer hitch and the Xb will tow a couple Motorcycles........carefully. This car is NOT for sale! Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) Pros: Great small car, lots of space, easy to park, very good gas mileage, comfortable with passengers, over 180k trouble free miles. Seven years on the battery and Front brakes lasted till 95k miles. Cons: always would like more power |

Favorite Vehicle So Far! — Bought this vehicle for company work (video production). It has been super versatile and efficient for my purposes. Carry equipment & people all with great MPG! Reliability has been fantastic with regular oil changes and tire rotations the only on-going maintenance required. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this vehicle. Only very minor gripe is road noise at highway speeds. Due to boxy aerodynamics and peppy 5spd gearing its a bit noisy. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great MPG city/hwy, lots of interior space, super reliable, peppy, features, practicality, unique look. Cons: wind / engine noise at hwy speeds over 70 due to aerodynamics. |

Good Looking Car With Lots Of Personality — I enjoy the visibility from the large windshield, great headroom and legroom for tall people. This little car has lots of power for such a small engine. It handles the mountains very well kicking in lower gear when necessary. The low profile tires were not made for a super smooth ride but great if you like the look. The cargo space is fantastic when the back seats are down. The opening is larger than our full size SUV to haul large boxes. The remote-start is great for either very hot or cold days so you don't have to get in until the temperature is comfortable. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: This is a great little car that handles well. I've been getting 30MPG consistently. Cons: Big low profile tires don't make for the smoothest ride. |

Best Mini-suv Ever — I bought this car at the height of the fuel price jump. I had a Nissan Sentra SER-Spec-V that i traded in on it for.. I wanted reliability and Nissan is just not there anymore. The XB was a new design at the time, there was nothing else on the road like it. It had a huge aftermarket scene for parts, which made it that much more like a blank canvas. I had owned toyota's in which i had done motor swaps, and maintenance on before so i knew there was potential in power, styling, and the cost of 15k new out the door made it that much more fun to look into. I drove this car for only a short amount of time. But i met some great people because of it. www.scionrg.com and became part of a club. I ended up building my box toward my personality, and also loved the optional mods that existed for it. I would buy another one tomorrow. Reliable, never had a single issue, they are not fast, actually very slow, but they have tons of potential and loads of interior volume.. Biggest back seat of any car i owed.. (Even a Cadillac) Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Endless list Cons: safety was a question, power was MIA, |

Your Average Toaster. — This being my first car to own, I was very excited to drive it whenever I wanted and however I wanted. But after a month or so, I realized how slow it actually was and the excitement faded away. The interior is very basic, even below basic. Not much going on on the dash. It's a good car if you're on a strict budget, but don't expect getting anywhere fast. I average at about 27mpg, and that's with my heavy foot on the accelerator. Japanese cars are always trustworthy, but this one is more like a trustworthy snail. You could easily buy a different car with more power for around the same price. It's worth just forking out the cash and then selling it later for 2k less. I would just put some money down on a faster car like the Mazda3, and finance the rest if possible. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Pretty good gas milage. Sporty vibe depending on your preferences. Very spacious for passengers and driver. Very inexpensive to keep maintained. Never have had any problems. Cons: Pretty slow, only 108 horsepower with little torque. Can be considered ugly to some people. Interior is very bland and plastic. Not many extra luxuries you find in most cars. Definitely a budget car. |
