2005 Mazda MAZDA6 Review
I drove my Mazda 6 for 180,000 miles before it finally shut down on me. It was no fault of mine. I took it in for the A/C to be worked on and the shop spilled something in the engine which killed it. Ive been through 3 engines since and decided I need to ditch the vehicle I love and start over again. I would recommend the MAzda 6 to anybody in a heartbeat. I probably could have easily gone over 200k in miles if not for the shop issues.

Good Car For Personal Use. — what I liked about this car was that its very easy to drive the handling is amazing, and how it looks. also how good it is on gas. what I dont like is that the thermostat keeps messing up, its a little small and the engine light wont go off.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great looking ,good handling ,good fuel economy, reliable, not very bulky, good stereo system.

Cons: thermostat, engine light, ceiling upholstery, not enough back seat space, small,

A Very Good Car — This car is overall very nice and reliable. It is a very good first car for anyone. I would recommended this car to others. There have been minor maintenance I have had to do on the car, but other than that it has been a great car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very reliable
cheap to maintain
looks sporty

Cons: Could be faster

Okay Car If You Like Taking It To The Shop! — I got this car after driving my Dodge Shadow ES for 18 years. I thought I needed something different. MY MISTAKE!! While my Shadow is still running and driving around town, my Mazda 6s has been in the shop 3 TIMES in ONE YEAR of owning it. Get something else if you want reliable. Buy a DODGE! I know I am.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I love the Bose stereo system. The storage is good and the back window wiper is nice.

Cons: It is not very good on gas. I've had it for a year and it's been in the shop 3 times already. People overcharge for labor on it. I guess if it has more than 100,000 miles on it, your in for a lot of repairs.

Family Sports Sedan — the V6 had alot power and i love the 5 speed manual, good in the snow, fun to drive, the back seats folded down to give you more hauling space, the handling was really good on the road and fun to drive in the show

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: good gas mileage and fun to drive

Cons: none

Very Sporty And Reliable — Its a sport car and drives very good. You can hang curves and move right on. It's a pretty quick car to be stock but I haven't had any problems out of it. Like I mentioned earlier, new tires and brakes and the maintenance has been well kept.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Had new brakes put on about a year ago and new tires in march. It drives very good and hangs curves well. I love this car and the sport style.

Cons: Really no negatives besides the mpg 27. It is a v6 so it likes gas but not terribly bad

Mazda Power But Not The Quality. — For a 4 cylinder had a lot of a power, handled exceptionally well, but shifted poorly, had the autostick and got worse as mileage went on. Drivers door window was often off track and gas mileage plumetted around 60K with no solution.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive but expensive to own.

Cons: Rear seats didn't fold down and became a lot to keep going.

Cant Pass Up This Offer! — very clean. well maintained reliable car. tinted windows, premium sound system, aftermarket wheels, and exhaust. gets 20 city 26 hwy mpg. It has very low mileage for a car that is six years old. Very fun to drive and it will jump if you feel a need for speed

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Awesome car!

Cons: none

Decent — Overall this is a good second car for me. Going from a 1996 Honda Accord with a 4cyl engine, to a zippy V6 is a nice transition. The quality of the car is great, it looks good when clean, and the car is fun to drive for the most part. Living in Minnesota, it gets through the snow well, except when going up a steep hill with a manual trans. LOVE the Bose stereo and roominess of the cab, and trunk.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: V6, Bose Stereo

Cons: Purge valve needs replacing
