Powerful And Large Family Hauler — I purchased my Durango new with the sole purpose of using for family vacations. It fit that bill to a "T". We hauled our boat 1200 miles on I-95 and averaged 18 MPG. A family of four and 2 weeks worth of luggage fit with room for the family pet. Maintenance only required oil changes and a radiator flush, never needed anything else. Overall I am very happy with this vehicle. Update 7/15: We sold the Durango 4/14. It finally needed something replaced...the waterpump. Did the job myself after a Chrysler dealer quoted a price of $800. A/C also started to go, needed charging every couple of months. After almost 10 years it was a good vehicle.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lots of hauling power and ample space

Cons: Fuel economy in town

Great Car To Have. — I liked everything about my car for the most part, besides that because parts were bigger they cost more, but other than that I love my car. its great to have especially if you have a big family and like to travel,

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Has a lot of space, great for winter and road trips, never broke down on me.

Cons: Tires are a bit costly, and if you let your tank run empty, its a lot a fill up.

Dodge Durango Slt — Great car! Most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Lot's of power and very easy to maintain. Looks sharp out on the town or out on the ranch. V8 engine is a must to get past those slow pokes in the slow lane!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Most reliable car I've ever owned.  Lots of room!

Cons: Gas mileage

Great — Great SUV. Very reliable transportation. Vehicle is excellant in snow, ice, rain or really any weather with it's 4 WD. The ride is very comfortable also. It is smooth and soft with no feeling of it being a big SUV or truck. Vehicle has plenty of leg and head room also, for those long trips you may need to take. Also, for hauling stuff around, there is plenty of room and even more when you lay the backseat down flat.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: dependable car

Cons: nothing

Great Reliable Vehicle With No Issues — I did not dislike anything about this vehicle besides the gas mileage. Overall I can look pass the gas mileage when I have a good looking, dependable vehicle. This vehicle has carried my large family on trips, it has hauled trailers, and been used for moving a couple of times. Very dependable vehicle that is great in the wintery Ohio weather.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 7-Passenger seats, great for hauling, great for big family!

Cons: Gas mileage because its a large SUV

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Tons of room, tow package

Cons: gas milage

Great Suv! — From E420 to a Durango. My previous 2 cars were E Class Sedans. Having never owned a Dodge I have been pleased with the reliability, great dealership and gas mileage! Mine is Limited with Hemi. With 155,000+ I average19 MPG. Best mileage was 24 HWY usually get 21 HWY and 16 City. For a huge SUV this is great. I looked and drove every large SUV but this had the best combination of price, size and options (not the best looking a bit like a bulldog). I ordered this and then added the extended warranty from the dealership. The lack of problems made the extended warranty a waste. I needed the extended warrantyt with my MBs. Considering I usually sell my cars at 135 - 150 K (On the road a lot for work) I plan on keeping it and rolling past 200K. It still looks good and drives well. Love the Hemi with the valve shut down. If you need a big SUV buy a Durango with the Hemi!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliable,Storage,Comfortable,Gas Mileage

Cons: Style, Floor Mats are CHEAP! Who new a plastic grill.
