My Little Suv — We bought the Equinox used from a dealer in Ft. Worth, and it has been a good car for us. Has leather interior, DVD system, 6 disc CD changer, On-Star, XM satelite radio, and heated front seats. Its been a great addition to the family.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Love the v6 engine, the interior is nice and roomy for our family

Cons: Wish it got better gas mileage, but it is an SUV

The Grill On The Front Of This Truck, Can Be Intimadating... — i like the extra room my family has, and i like the all wheel drive, for the winter. Dislikes are when i go over bump, i hear a lot of rattles, had shocks check. And they are fine. Dislikes is the stupid water in my truck, major defect.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great reliable family vehicle, beat having a mini van.... any day...

Cons: paint on dashboard scratches easily....

2005 Chevrolet Equinox. — Like I said, the only hassle is changing the headlights. But, you don't have to change them often. Maybe once every three years. Also, the headlights only turn off when it is in park. Lots of room, good gas mileage and very stylish for a family vehicle. Love the color of mine too.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Surprisingly good gas mileage for an SUV.

Cons: Changing the headlights is a hassle.

Good And Practical — Overall the appearance is nice a few scratches on the rear side of the car. The heated seats make the front seats comfortable while the back seats have pleanty of leg room and are adjustable. The gas mileage is 20-22 in town and 23-25 highway, maintenance costs are fairly low. The car handles well in all types of weather.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This is a great mid sized SUV for a small family or hauling cargo.  The built in shelf in the back really helps with trips to and from the store.

Cons: The center console is a bit shallow

Roomy And Fast Awd - Great Suv For Any Weather — Decent gas mileage at 25 mpg. Handles like a dream. Low to the ground for great corning, you wouldn't know you're in a 4wd capable car. Fast and strong v6 coupled with a long-lasting durable 5 speed transmission. All the safety gizmos you can think of. No complaints, it's a wonderful car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Strong motor, durable automatic transmission, side curtain air bags as well as front air bags, oil change service reminder, lots of modern gizmos. AWD. 4 wheel disc brakes. Sliding/reclining rear 60/40 bench seat. Quiet while driving.

Cons: Cloth seats are hard to keep spotlessly clean - too light of a grey color for my liking. Wide turning radius. Rear headrests are obnoxiously large when backing up.
