Escalade Ext Trucks Are For Individuals That Need A Truck But Demand Style! — The Pearl white paint job really helps the look of this vehicle. Along with the saddle bag compartments, sun roof and truck bed cover panels (3). It drives more like an SUV in regards to handling and braking. It does ride well and has hand free phone service through on star. This EXT was not in the shop for anything other than maintenance during the 6 years of ownership, upgraded oil and fuel used most of the time. It has all the air bags and belts for 5 persons. One of the features is a removal able rear window and rear seats that fold down. Making it versatile for parades, lake trips or camping.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It's a luxury truck with a strong tow package.

Cons: Fuel mileage could be better.

Not Impressed — The truck is a lemon with power that has good looks. That's all! I would not recommend to buy this truck, because looks is all you get with big repair bills. I have to get everything fixed all the time, but if you are handy and have a parts connection, then it might work. Used parts aren't so easy to find, since it is a hard to find truck.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The truck looks amazing

Cons: but looks is all it has other than power.  The truck has so many issues all the time, I would not recommend.

David says:
Plenty of space. Love the style. Love Cadillac...we also own a 2005 STS that we have driven over 200,000 miles without a problem. Routinely take it on 1800 mile round trips to Texas and back. Have actually driven it about 1500 miles in the last 5 days. If this one holds up half as good, we will have gotten our moneys worth. Great truck!

Have owned an Escalade EXT for several years. Nice comfort ride with 4 wheel drive. Plenty of space for family and cargo. Back seat folds down for additional cargo space. Have enjoyed driving this vehicle.
