2004 Cadillac CTS Review
Ive only had the CTS for 20K, bought with over 80K for my daughter. Everything is falling apart in the interior. The Speedo is off by 7 MPH. Parts cost too much and dealer labor is billed at $160.00 per hour. RELATED: The local Caddy dealer seems to look down his nose at our 2004, pushing hard to get us in a newer model. Tries to shame me for not having the new better airbags for my family. Their parts department does not stock parts for cars older than 5 years. STYLE: I does look great but handles sloppy even with the new struts and tires. (Standard USA plush) I drive this CTS and give her the Saturn in the snowy months to ease her fears

Handling Ranked 2004 Saturn L300 better.
"The drive off the plateau has lots of curve, dips and off camber section of blacktop. The Saturn is poised and seems planted ready to go where I point it. The Caddys body roll and the howls from the Pirellis do not instill confidence. It works OK but I have to be 100% involved in each action. I have to force my mind to look and point since the seat-of-the-pants feeling is that it is about to toss me off the road. The Saturn has Power assist braking or about a 15# pedal re-action, much like my trucks, while the Caddy is under 5#. It is easy to over brake. The caddy drives much better with the gas tank empty, if full the rear wants to wag around too much."
Looks/Style Ranked 2004 Saturn L300 worse.
"The sharp edges and chrome wheels are nice to see. The design theme is still in use so it doesnt look very old. Daughter likes that is class and the in-crowd will ride with her."

Great Car If I Did Not Need Suv. — I loved this car, went out of town a lot and great on the road. This car is always a head turner and has the smoothest ride. Great boss stereo system can hear everything with those tweeters. Smoothest ride I have ever had!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas on the highway, the look and style, smooth ride, great sound system, and can get into small spaces

Cons: Expenses when car breaks down.

Decent; Solid; Semi Unique But Not A Show Stopper. — initally, i should have went home and thought twice; the engine pulls alittle, but maybe it needs to be serviced. Cadallac is still an old man's car (as far reputation) so,people respect it but if your under 30; no kids; look else where. the car does impress and since im considering face to face sales. i wanted to look the part. It'll do for now, but I'm going to be trading .

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great interior space; and solid vehicle. i like the suspension; the smoothest ride i ever felt.  I haven't test driven many cars but compared to the 2003 bmw 325i suspension; the interior was better; the automatic seat adjustment; i get in car. hit the button and the seat moves me to the steering weel; auto matic temp save; 1 or 2 custom settings;

Cons: however, sinc e i bought used. the stereo is disappointing since im a techy guy;  i planned on replacing it when i test drove it.  sounds good tho; 6+ speakers; crisp; but no bluetooth support and on star doesn't work. car runs through gas  and carries small tank. (15 gallons is small for me) i'm at poump more often. compared to saab car i had.

Great. — Performance is great. Rear wheel is always fun. Great acceleration and Handling No problems Mechanically. Gas mileage isn't great unless on a long trip going atleast 70. Very fun to drive. Appearance of the car is sporty, nice lines on it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The power is alot more that what you would expect from a V6.

Cons: Expensive parts.

Very Impressed It's My First Cadillac And Won't Be The Last — We've had it for two years and have not had a single problem with it. It's only needed normal maintenance (oil/filter changes) and I had to change a bulb :D Great looking and super reliably vehicle. I recommend it to anyone!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great looks, comfortable tourer, sporty in appearance, especially after my mods.  Great build quality.

Cons: nothing

Good Car To Drive And Have But If You Don't Have The Money To Upkeep It Then Avoid It. — Very enjoyable car. Gets close to 25 mpg on the interstate. Very quick car and also drives very smooth. Tops out at 140 and has a sporting mode on it. The interior is nice black leather and is very well maintained.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Nice luxury car nice on inside and outside

Cons: Repairs and maintenance get to be pricey.
