Overall very pleased with my Mazda Tribute. It is basically a Ford Escape with a Mazda body and interior. I like that it is a V6 as most other smaller SUVs this size are 4 cylinders. Very peppy and handles nice also. Interior is roomy for my 6 2 frame and the back seats recline and are quite comfortable. Decent sized cargo area but not a lot of space to hide items in the vehicle out of sight. Definitely worth a look and test drive if you can find one as they are kind of rare. Definitely recommended.

Faithful, Awesome, Comfortable — with automatic all-wheel drive, the only way to get stuck is to high-center (did in the sand at the beach, but a little digging and was free). Also with the anti-lock brakes, stopping is maxed out in efficiency. the only scary time was climbing a steep snowy hill, when all 4 wheels are spinning, it's up to chance.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Excellent snow,wet yucky weather

Cons: top heavy, so watch the inclines

Mazda A Tribute To Affordable Fun And Utility — Owned this vehicle since new. Love the acceleration and fuel economy for a AWD sport ute. Seats four comfortably and travels well for a couple and dog with gear. Towed beyond expectations - straight with good capacity. It has been a great value, but the newer models lost a little rear seat legroom.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great all around vehicle for couple with a dog.  Good acceleration and fuel mileage for a AWD utility and good hauling and towing capacity.

Cons: Front seats could be more comfortable for long trips.  Mileage and acceleration are hit hard by A/C or defroster.  Tall or long items hard sometimes hard to fit in cargo area.

Nice Car To Have If Your Looking For Affordable Suv. — The Mazda tribute is excellent vehicle for any driver. It's big enough to fit a small family or a few of your friends for a night on the town. The 3.0L V6 gives it decent power while not hurting your wallet on fuel.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Decent gas, Roomy enough to fit 3 of your friends comfortably

Cons: None

Mazda — I love my Mazda, even though it drinks the gas! Easy for me to get in and out of! Wish I had nicer rims on it, but all in time!
