Best Car Ive Owned, I Just Need Something Smaller. — I love everything about this car, but im going back to school and will be commuting, so i need something with better gas mileage. This car has amazing get up and go! Very comfortable ride, especially for the long drives. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Smooth ride. Powerful. Great handling. Cons: Gas mileage |

Comfortable, Reliable, Styleish — Overall, for the price we paid in May 05, with 50K miles($16K), I think we got a good deal. We only have maintenance on it now and it's holding up nice. Roomy on the inside, sporty on the outside. Gas mileage is somewhat less than average Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: It's luxurious and sporty. Great power and handling- all the bells & whistles Cons: Uses more fuel than I'd like. A/C is temperamental. The plastic pegs holding weather stripping are always popping out and the trim oxidizes fast, CD changer eats CDs |

Not Your Grrandmothers Lincoln — This is a great road car. The adjustable seats are so variable that you can stay in them for a very long time. When you add that to the power and handling you get a a fun ride for a long trip. I did have a coil go bed due to an oil leak from a defective gasket. Handled under warranty. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Great fun to drive; lots of power; great handling. Cons: requires premium gasoline |

A Great, Stylish, Powerful, Priced Just Right. — This is a chance for someone who may not be wealthy to finally afford and drive what the rich drives. The Lincoln LS is a real joy to drive. Please don't pass up the chance to drive the v8 engine LS. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: luxury is the lincoln ls, the power in the 3.9 v8 will put a smile on your face, plenty of space, everthing electric Cons: console lid latch breaks, back of front seats coming loose. |

Love My Lincoln — Going through common maintenance issues for a car this old. I can help answer most of your questions. Most repairs I do it myself. Love the car but the issue you have to deal with is Lincoln's many sensor issues. Pros: Better fuel economy than the V8. V6 has a quieter engine Cons: Hard to change passenger coils and plugs. |

Awsome Car! — Best car for the $$. AC issues with a crossover feed cost 2k to repair. Also burnt by the leaking Valve cover gasket, and related oil soaked coil replacement another 1500 bucks. Car out performs many out there and in this price range it does not have competition, even with some expensive repairs. I now have 200K (km) on the car and it stil performs like when I bought it used with 50K KM's. Before I purchsed the car the tiptronic transmission was replaced unde warranty (at 30K KM). Chrome rims also replaced under warranty. Last of the north American RWD Sedan powerhouses and fun to drive. Compared to this car the Dodge 300 is out performed by the Lincoln and more fun to drive. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great performance, exccellent gas mileage 28 Highway Cons: if you giver, you'll py at the pumps. Some issues should have been recall, ie AC crossover and Valve cover gaskets. No recommeded mtce schedule can also be a problem. |

I Love My Ls! — I absolutely love my LS! It's the American 540i, with money left in your wallet. Excellent handling for a 2 ton, 4 door barge, especially with the Michelin Pilot Sport tires I put on it. Strong acceleration, excellent turn-in, and supreme comfort. Only problem is the stupid leaking valve cover issue, requiring new seals and possibly ingnition coils. Be prepared to spend another $1,000 if you buy that hasn't had this problem fixed. Still, for the paltry sum that these are fetching right now, it's an EXCELLENT buy! I'd do it all over again! Pros: A joy to drive, plenty of room for stuff and friends, good performance Cons: leaky valve cover issue |
