How to turn off "check engine " dash light?
I had to bypass IMA since the battery pack was non-functional, but now I need to turn off Check Engine dash light so it will pass the emissions test in Decatur GA.

The 2002 Honda Insight, a hybrid (gasoline/electric) automobile, has virtually no changes from the previous year. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) is considered one of the better improvements introduced the year before.
One highlight from this hybrid vehicle is the regenerating battery, which means no outside power source is necessary. The engine itself runs on gasoline and is a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine. The electrical portion of the hybrid is to assist with acceleration.
Consumer response is fairly consistent, naming gas mileage, maneuverability and looks, as the top three benefits. On the other hand drivers would enjoy more power for acceleration (although top-end speed is not an issue), along with more space and comfort within the cab. Overall rating from owners is 9.0 / 10.0.
For a price range between $13,000 and $14,000, you can buy a 2002 Insight that is in good condition. You will have to be careful because with four years behind them, peculiarities may start to appear.
