I have owned 7 Hondas , 2 Acuras, 1 Pontiac, 1 Range Rover and 1 Land River, 1 VW, 1 GMC. I NEVER had a single issue with a Honda or Acura, however, with the other vehicles there were issues within the first couple months of owning them. This Prelude (2001) was purchased for my son. I acknowledge that the car is 20 years old and there are going to be repairs and it won’t be shiny and new, but this is what he wanted, and it was within his budget. He wanted something that was vintage, looks unique, and something that he could work on. We are definitely happy! This little car still handles great and drives smoothly.

Preludes are great, my 85 lasted almost 30 years. Fast, low maintenance, and fun.

I have always liked preludes. They are a bit hard to work on but they were always sent my way. I was a honda Tech for 20 years.

Amazing Car! — This is an awesome car. I cannot say enough about the Prelude. I've been after a clean/stock Prelude since I was about 17. While out shopping with my gf I was playing on Autotrader and came across this gem. I Immedately called the seller and told him consider it sold. I drove 4 hours to pick it up that weekend. Absolutely love this vehicle. Only think I hate is I live in PA so I won't drive it in the winter. Another month or so and she'll be back on the streets!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I love this car.  From everything to power/handling to the looks.  Great car.

Cons: Back seat.  Doesn't really matter much to me as I don't plan on driving anyone around in this car.

I Am Extremely Impressed By Its Power And Looks — I like this cars power and looks and how I can tune it to my personal driving standards. I also like how it handles on the tarmac. This car is a great car for the price you pay so you can't go wrong.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its a fast and reliable car if you are looking for a car to tune and upgrade this is ur car

Cons: I personally feel that front wheel drive is its con

Great Bachelor Car Or For Someone With No Kids. — i love that its small and has amazing handling and you can add lots of mods to it. but back seat wont be able to hold anyone of full size unless they sit sideways lol. its just an amazing car though.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: great for driving and great handling. great view from inside at all angles.

Cons: not a lot of back seat space for very much of anything or anyone.

Preludes Are Awesome — this car was the best car, performance and handling wise, I have ever owned. The only donw fall of it was that the manual transmission only had 5 gears....if it had a sixth gear it would have been better

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: what is there not to like?

Cons: only five gears

Bad-frickin-@ss — I love everything about it! It's sexy, a thrill to drive and fun to work on! She is currently under construction..suspension upgrades in the works! She needs some minor body work, but it's gonna get a hellava makeover when the finances are right!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great handling, sporty for a 4 cylinder, not bad on fuel economy

Cons: nothing

Great Performance Toy For It's Price — It drives and handles very well. Even stock, you can have some fun and spin the tires easily. Supped up, it can be a naturally aspirated beast compared to other front wheel drives, a turbo just makes it plain scary. Nitrous is not a very good option unless your serious about dragging. Mine doesn't do too well on gas mileage, with a fuel system upgrade. I would also suggest an Apexi Super-Neo on-board piggyback computer.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Looks good IMO

Cons: Front wheel drive
