I activated the valet mode by pushing the valet button in the armrest. Now I cannot open the boot with the black key as the instructions indicate. The key will not turn completely. Maybe the lock mechanism is frozen. And am unable to exit the valet mode to open the boot....not sure how to do that. How do I get the boot open?
Key will not open trunk on my 1996 VDP. None of the buttons work either. What can I do to open trunk?

After 15 degree temperature my 1996 XJ6 Jaguar would not start and when I tried to jump the battery it just would click but not try to turnover. What could be wrong the battery was down, but jumping it did not cause it to turn over???? Help
