All Around Awesome — 5.7L LT1 with 9C1 police package. still has the spotlight on the drivers A-pillar. wig wags work also. can chase down a corvette on the expressways. topped out at 155 mph. i also had a cb installed to have the antenna on the back to make look like actual police car.

    Pros: 9C1 package

    Cons: nothing

I Love It In The Snow. — Handles as well as a chassis from 1977 can with the 9C1 setup. Built fairly well, better than you may expect a car 15 years old to perform. The LT1 does as best as it can, but my 3.42 gears, and PCMforless tune aided it greatly. It's not great on fuel but I drive it hard. You can't beat the look of stomping some dork in his Hemi Ram with an ugly old paint peeling police car. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: It's hilarious

Cons: Knick knack problems stemming from it's police service life

A Beast That.s Tuff As Hell — it,s simply a beast, goes side ways at 50 miles per hour on a kickdown, smoking them up,the tranny is a reinforced 4l60 ,its a cop car so rear disc brakes ,handling package, same as impalla ss just as a spartan look ,that i intend to do next, nice plus leather from a fleetwood

    Pros: the mean growl,of magnaflow

    Cons: gazoholic

It,s Like Driving A Healty Small Block Old Caprice — it,s got the corvette issued 5.7 lt1 second generation,it's got bit more than 400hp,but it's heavy ass hell,i need gears,it's an ex cop car but it's now on flat black primer and is gooing jet or semi-gloss black, and no i'm not dooing a ss clone, lolenough of those

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: sheer power

Cons: lots of little problems but very reliable

Built Like A Tank — That it's an old Buffalo P.D. car and you can't ask for a faster family car!! It has 'cop' everything!!! It has the LT1, posi rearend, cop tires, cop brakes, cop suspension...so what do you say?...is it the new 'Bluesmobile?'

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: it's an old cop car....does it get better than that?

    Cons: plastic coolant connections suck!!

I Love My Caprice — hottest car in life, burns rubber and is a very comfy ride. build quality is very good. there are a few small problems. such as the distributer getting owned by the water pump. parts are pretty cheap, and its so much fun to drive! it just begs for you to take it out and put a good beating on it.

    Pros: its awesome

    Cons: they stopped making them.

9c1 — I own the 9C1 so it says caprice on the dasy but you all know its all balls. Its fast and can beat most cars off the line and scare the crap out of ricers and lead foots. Girs like it when you hit the gas in town and always makes their heads turn. not bad for under 5000 bucks.

    Pros: engine

    Cons: gas mileage

96 Caprice Classic Lt1 — awesome power, good handling and braking considering size. gas mileage is great for engine and car size. still reliable after 160k miles.

Pros: comfortable interior, powerful LT1 engine, 26 mpg hwy, cool styling, neat hood ornament, big trunk, beefy suspension and chassis

Cons: thin exterior sheetmetal is rust prone, 16 mg city, difficult to parallel park
