1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Reviews, Pricing & Specs

What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme appreciate its smooth ride, stylish appearance, and good fuel economy. Many highlight the comfortable leather seats and decent handling. However, some drivers express frustration with performance issues, such as slow acceleration and brake problems, along with various minor annoyances like rust and mechanical quirks."
A lot of little problems and minor annoyances, but nothing major. Always starts in the winter and loves snow, plows through anything. Perfect car for those that don't have children, big enough for 1 car seat, but a pain the butt to get into the car.
January 6, 2008Performance: Well, acceleration is solid but lacks punch. 9 second 0-60 is old, but with the right upgrades for this motor it can easily be helped. The suspension, front is solid but the rear monoleaf setup is annoying. Every few years it gets noisy and uncomfortable to ride on due to pads and struts. Easy fixes with upgrades fro KYB and a body roll solver with front and rear strut tower bars. Build quality: Excellent. No rust, paint shines after 14 years, underbody has typical wisconsin winter effects, but overall no major body defects. Interior stays quiet with typical upkeep. Gauges and radio design could use work. Appearance- Outstading for 1995, and today still looks very modern. Wheel upgrades and such as I have done do wonders for the car. Cost- 20+ city and a near 30 highway. Winter, 16-17 city, as expected. Originally the motor recieved bad head and intake gaskets which go after anywhere from 50-100k miles. Once replaced, and with the normal maintenance the engine is indestructible. Fun factor- From the factory it is a very smooth and comfy ride with plenty of get go for a sedan. With mild modifications the car truly can be a wonderful and moderatley quick car to drive.
December 26, 2008My 1995 Cutlass convertible has a 3.4 auto, white with a black top and grey leather interior. The car so far has 310,000 kms on it with a new engine and transmission. I brought the car as a wreck to bring it back to life.

March 14, 2008nice car to be a family car handles great in traffic at speeds above 100 mph ....pick up is kinda slow but once she gets to movin she'll handle anything you can throw her way ..i liked driving her and i'm sure you will to.
August 28, 2009hood and right fender are white, not red (like the rest of the car). The driver's seat is the most comfortable driver's seat I have ever sat in. it has a 15 gallon tank, so its not too much to fill. it has a 3.1 liter v6, so its good on gas. I think this is going to be my car for a while. the reason I didn't recommend my car to a friend is cuz i want to keep it all to myself.
October 19, 2008Surpisingly it has great acceleration, i'm happy bout that. It's brakes kinda stink, but that's probably my fault, and the handling is descent. This car is a beast when it comes to quality, it hasn't needed any major fixes, i do have a problem with the security light but it's fine for now. It has a lot of miles for sure, but it's still goin. The best thing about the car is the bass, it has awesome bass, best part about it. But anyway i like driving it and it suits me for now.
January 30, 2009very nice, great first car, it rattles with 1000 watts in the trunk lol looks good just covered in dirt, great gas mileage, low costs except for the keys to be remade, $25 for one key, great car to have n cruise around in
December 10, 2010Very comfortable. WAAAY too much rust.the 3.1 doesn't have a lot of power, but it does the trick. I get about 26-27 mpg when I drive it easy. many major repairs have been made. intake gasket, head gasket, transmission. The side mirrors don't adjust, the right one is bent, my seat lever is broken. I have the radiator fans on a manual switch (that fell off). My window switches only work if you know how to work them. In a way it's great. all the adjustable things have been rendered non-adjustable in my settings, so nobody else wants to drive my car!
April 20, 2010I drives like a Volvo, turns on a dime. Pick up is great. I looks really wonderful and is the only full sized American convertivble still out there except for the classics. And this one will be a Classic too.
March 28, 2008bought new, now have 190000 miles, still do not use oil. Everything original except water pump and recently alternator. Great on gas too.
