It’s old so it doesn’t have things modern cars have like airbags. It concerned me. I would buy this if it was less money maybe closer to 5k. Dec 12, 2020

sucks in the snow. horrid even with snow tires but goes anywhere i want it to if you give it enough gas and know how to drive. breaks good, no blind spots, drop a gear and it holds you back, little maintenance but mine is all stock. avg. 19mpgJul 31, 2014

love the looks of this car, easy to use and fun to drive, lots off mods to put on for off-roading, is a beast of a little jeep and can go almost anywhere the new jeeps can go with a bit of skill and mods =)Jul 25, 2014

Used daily for work/school and it rode great and smooth with no repairs needed. The hood paint is slightly faded but I think it gives the jeep more character and have been told to keep it the way it is by many bystanders. An all-around great vehicle that runs how it should.Oct 08, 2013

The Jeep Wrangler is a rugged kit of parts that has been a valuable companion for many years. With regular maintained, which is the easiest of any vehicles to work on it will be there for you for many years. Dec 11, 2012

Extremely fun vehicle. I travel extremely close to work (less than 5 minutes) and have used it to commute. The vehicle is in great condition, no mechanical problems. Has a bikini top, tow package, folding rear seat. 4x4, 4 cylinder. Sep 14, 2012

previous owner did lots of upgrading to the mechanical parts. it needs some body
work but it still runs and gets around town with out any problem the clutch leaks
but not bad enough to stop driving it. its a JEEP no further

hands down my favorite car / truck. very fun dd and very fun to wheel i love it because its stick four wheel drive and all the respect from jeep owners , yj owners, and wrangler owner i would tell any of my friends to buy one even though must of my friends have a jeepMay 15, 2012

Accelerates about as fast as you can use a clutch, brakes real well. Little
squirrelly at high speed. Built tough, has not need a lot of repair mostly
on
water system - pump, hose, radiator. Appearance - few chip in paint
but
other wise shine up well. My cost lower than any of my other cars. has
16
gallon gas tank so depending on price I pay $60-$75 every 2 weeks.
Maintenance so far had it for 6 years $800. FUN FACTOR - FUN FUN
FUN.

this thing is a go anywhere do anything machine. although its a smaller vehicle and
it is harder for a taller person to sit in for hours it is one of the best rides on and off

I like the freedom feeling, i dislike the price tag of fixin a yj every ten seconds.
Really harsh ride. It's smoother on dirt than it is on blacktop. lack of power and gearing makes it slow on the highway. i get about 21 mpgs. all in all I think it can go just about anywhere now and i haven't even modded it yet. Aug 07, 2010

Only thing Im bummed out about this Jeep is, it's only got the 4 banger. It's a little under powered for a box on wheels. Unless you get the Sahara or Rubicon (or the odd chance you stumble across a normal yj with the option) you're gonna have some power problems going up hill and at highway speed. The straight 6 is a really great engine. Im not sure how hard a swap would be, guess I'll find out one day. Still, the 2.4 is a good engine... but the 4.0 would be soo much nicer.Jul 25, 2010

What more can you ask for? A solid Jeep. Nothing better
than 4 wheel leaf springs with a full frame. Lockers are a
must. Lifts are also a good idea as long as you spring lift it.
These things dont like block lifts. 4cyl is a good motor but
doesnt like highways, more torque than youd think though.Feb 19, 2010

no power and noisy when the top is on. other than that its a fun vehicle to drive. Wouldn't recomend as a daily driver with a soft top. one plus is they are easy to customize and after market parts are easy to come by.Sep 08, 2009

I had the 2.4l engine, and it came with a lift, so the
performance was a little weak, and it only got 16mpg. Other
than that, I am absolutely in love with the car. No engine

Apperance- green with stripes...bull bar is good for pedestrians
cost-nothing breaks other than the alternator on 128
Fun- the doors come off and the mirrors come off with them. the windshield folds down...

Alright the two things I like is that its only a 4 cylnder so it lacks in the horse power area, and it has leaf springs all around so I dont get alot of travel on the trail but they are cheaper to lift with all leafs.Jul 27, 2009

There was no place i could not go. Mud, snow, ice - nothing stopped me from getting to where i needed to be. Soft top in the summer was awesome and heater was a volcano in the winter. Wife loved it, too. Too bad the kids came along or i's still have it ...Aug 29, 2008

My first ride after college- I drove this across the country to Virginia and back again from North Carolina. Not good for long road trips, but awesome off road in the mud. Decent on gas, but I wish I would have gotten AC... it got hot in the NC sun with only a bikini top to give shade. Lotas fun at the beach!Aug 18, 2008

The wrangler i had was the rio grande edition it was green with tan interior but it had a black top. I lover driving this jeep and the respect i got from others that drove wranglers. I put new over head speakers in and a new stero in the jeep and i was jamming.Aug 03, 2008
