Pretty Decent Car. Surprisingly Good On Gas — I like the space and the way it runs. Really impressed with the gas mileage. I personally like the old style look better . I wish there was more than one outlet for electronics. All in all it is a pretty decent car

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Runs well

Cons: Needs some mechanical for inspection. Cheap fixes though

Power, Traction, Comfortable — Real good suv. I love my jeep, but it take alot of maintenance and money. Very power full (if the 5.2l) very comfortable. I got pillow top leather seats and there like sitting in a lazy boy chair wile you drive! Most are real reliable, mines bot so much. But they are good suv's.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Off road its really good, all wheel drive make it easy, but still fun!

Cons: Has lots of problems, you got to maintenance it of you will have lots of problems!

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Great Car! — My 1st Jeep, i bought it with 145k miles for $500 bucks and itg runs absolutely great! Has most options available but not all work anymore such as the power windows and the right rear passenger door is stuck closed but the body looks very nice and was well worth the money. It really pulled through and saved me during the blizzard of 2013, very fun car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Love it! most fun car ive ever had and will gladly buy other Jeeps in the future.

Cons: the power windows don't work, rear passenger door stuck closed, speedometer works when it wants, power mirrors work halfway, defroster sucks on the side windows.

Bias Jeep Lover. — Have to admit this is my 3rd Jeep and have loved every one of them. I am also buying another used one very soon. I have had some problems with diagnosing some of the mechanical issues with these SUV's, but have gotten twice as many miles out of them as my other non-jeep vehicles.

Pros: Great all around SUV

Cons: Ehh, if it has a con it is that it is made by Chrysler.

Great Suv — Overall its not a bad vehicle Not a good first person car thought. Performance is very impressive not what you expect. The cost isn't to cheap, Kinda pricey to drive Not good on gas. Its a very fun vehicle to drive great acceleration great handling and fun as ever off the road.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Worth owning and upgrading super fast when needed and super comfortable when needed.

Cons: Horrible gas millage, spare tire is in the cap with you. Radio is a pain in the but to add (has factory amp) wasn't fun by passing

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: i like that this vehicle is good for familys.

Cons: im really tall (6'6") it would b nice to have just a lil bit more leg room.

If You Must Have One. Get A 99 With The 5.9 V8 And From A Single Owner Low Mileage. — Pretty affordable AWD drive vehicle. Replacement parts are easy to find at the local yard, since they made so many. HP is low thought the torque us high (5.2 L 318 ci V8). MPG is fair but not great with the all time AWD avg about 15 mpg. But I put my foot into once in while. Fun to drive. Stiff coil springs and I have wide offset wheels so it take corners very well.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great if you know how to repair it. Grand Cherokees are known to have more issues than the regular Cherokee model. Minor electrical and mechanical, but if you like to spend money and send it to a shop purchase a Cherokee Sport 4.0 4x4 instead.

Cons: Prefer the NP242 (Select Trac) vs NP249 (Quadra Trac / stock) transfer case so I can switch to 2wd. Conversion is possible, just requires getting a donor case and doing the work.

Jeep Or Heep — A jeep will nickle and dime you to death. You'll get a nosie in the front end and you will never be able to find out what is causing it but think of the fun you will have spending you time and money working on your jeep.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: it has four wheels

Cons: lots of little problems and then a few bigs one.

Maitianance Maitianace — I bought this car for $240. engine knocking transmission slipping! With 144k miles serviced trans, installed brake pads machined rotors all 4 wheels. Drove for one year and 11k miles. Found 1998 grand cherokee with front end damage, 52k miles paid $500. swapped engine, transmission, transfer case, four doors and rear hatch. Complete interior, carpet, seats, dashboard, headliner, all electronics, computer, wiring, dual air bags, seat belts. I know have 58k miles on a 95/98 jeep and i could not be happier!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: reliable even when it had problems

Cons: brake rotors poor design
