Great First Car — Gets good gas mileage. Has nice amenities for a car of it's age. Very fun to drive with the manual transmission. Looks great. I'm replacing many of the parts because of the crazy previous owners. Parts can be expensive but there are many parts available on Ebay and specialty websites.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: IT's a fast, fun to drive car with many luxuries you wouldn't expect in am older car like this.

Cons: Parts can be expensive

1992 Griffin - A Very Special Saab 9000 Cd — Only 400 were ever made. It had the best of everything for 1992. Later years used some of the feature and innovations - and the paint code. Truly unique, there are very few of them left in the world. The only thing missing in mine is the factory car phone - a really big deal in 1992!

Pros: Unique piece of SAAB history

Cons: 1992 had some serious problems with TCS.

Its My Third Car But The One I Have Customized The Most And Worked The Hardest To Maintain. — great car! fast, fun and good looking. its taken a lot of time, money and hard work to get this car to where i want it, but its finally paying off. its not a show-car by any standard (still got a dented quarter panel where a cab door hit me and its still missing the headliner from when i removed it to install a glass sunroof), but the paint still shines and the leather is rip-free and soft. its got a lot of modifications including a sport exhaust, cold-air intake, performance engine management chips, sport-springs and bilstein shocks, polyurethane bushings, custom 17" wheels with Kumho Z-rated tires, cross-drilled rotors, euro blinkers, custom grill, a rare euro ground-effects package, rare euro bridge-spoiler, and an Alipne/Infinity Kappa 2600w stereo system with two 12" subs. it has been a great car, when it runs right, and its been a lot of fun tuning it and bringing out its true potential.

Pros: the car's got that classic saab style and with the addition of bigger wheels, sport suspension and the body-kit, it looks really bad-ass.

Cons: its a 16 year old saab and it's got problems.  no rust but engine issues that arise from time to time due to the complex TCS (Traction Control System). TCS is the worst thing to happen to Saabs. Don't buy an old Saab unless you know how to do the work yourself and have spare parts to fix the problems as they arise, because they will.

Ex-diplomatic — This car I owned for just a couple of weeks before selling it to my father, imported from Germany, where it'd been used as a CD-car for swedish government.Leather,ACC,electric sun roof,SuperAero rims... And this is an CD model with 2,3 litre power unit. Not a turbo.

Pros: Rev-happy motor, extras, no rust

Cons: 150bhp non-turbo :S
