The Mazda 929 was totally redesigned for 1992. The body was restyled to be more rounded and modern-looking, and the wheelbase grew more than five inches. The engine got more power, and driver- and passenger-side airbags were now available.

The Mazda 929 only came in one trim level, but it was well-equipped, with a sunroof, power everything, and air conditioning. The engine was a 3.0-liter, 195 horsepower V6. Fuel economy was 19/24.

Drivers like the 1992 929 because it is roomy and comfortable, handles well, and is very reliable. Many drivers find the interior to be lacking in many features like cup holders and a glove box. In the event that the 929 does need repairs, the parts can be expensive.

This car still gets a solid 21 miles per gallon and yes it is a 6 cylinder. This 929 has a great ride and really tracks the road well. I often have a problem when hitting the gas to hard it will peel rubber, sequel the wheels, and attract attention. Apr 22, 2011

The first time i drove one of these babies i new i was going to own one. Just a week later i bought one and have no regrets. The car is a work of art as both the interior and exterior are stunning with enough features in it to rival mercedes. Mar 17, 2007
