1992 Hyundai Excel GS 2-Door Hatchback FWDReview

Tough Little Beast! — My 1992 Hyundai Excel is very well built. Paint is dried, interior has a few rips, but runs AWESOME! Fast little beast. Gas mileage is GREAT! Fun to drive, nice to have a little red hatchback. Tough, 3-SPD- Transmisson can't be stopped! Neither can the 6cyl. ECI Multi motor. Overall, great car. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Motor Won't Die! Cons: Paint Dries Out. ![]() Looking for a Used Excel in your area?CarGurus has thousands of nationwide listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

It's Ok — I did like how little Hp the car had but i t got me from New Hampshire the Connecticut and never strained by on the highway. Great on gas it got 28 mils to the gallon, the car has a small tank so it never took more than $20 to fill up. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Cheap on gas!!!! Cons: Small , compact vechicle with not enough Hp |

This Car Is 1 Year Younger Than Me — I grew up driving around in this bad boy. Mine is actually red and in almost mint condition (no rust). Plus not many cars these days have a 3-speed automatic Pros: great for the city, can reach highway speeds easily Cons: sluggish acceleration, 1.5L engine |
