Sweet First Ride — It was my first car. A white 2 door 1991 Cutlass Supreme SL with a trunk rack. Badass. I wish I could remember the mileage. It had a 3.8 v6 engine. It was fairly peppy from what I remember. All red interior . I remember going down the highway one time on 93 North and all the power went out (alternator) and I had to switch 3 lanes without car power to the breakdown lane to live. Good overall first car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: badass car

Cons: nothing

It Works. — Accelerates decently, but I don't push it or the engine will fall out. Everything rattles on the car. Appearance is decent, if not plain. Gas mileage is decent, but it needs parts... but it's old. All in all, it's good enough to get to point B from A.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: it's still alive, it's a 2dr... gas mileage is decent.

Cons: old, no power... speedo half works, no tach, not standard

Good Old Cutlass Supreme — Digital gauges rule. The elderly woman who owned it before me really took good care of it. The performance isn't to bad for a 3.1L V6. The only thing I don't like is that it has almost no high end torque for passing on the highway, but it gets me where I need to go.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Smooth drive, solid engine, comfortable seats

Cons: No high end acceleration, about 27MPG HWY/ 23 City

Wish It Had Been Better. — It looked decent in loaded trim, but it was an absolute LEMON. Over the time I owned it, it averaged being in for some sort of repair or maintenance every six weeks. GM's warranty wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. Several repairs had to be done more than once, usually just after the warranty expired on the car or the item. It would stall intermittently, often when I was turning left into an intersection. It was a fuel sucking pig, only a bit less so once an independent mechanic told me what the "problem" was, something that GM denied. Yet when that item was fixed, fuel consumption was better; so was oil consumption. The car did drive well, with decent acceleration once higher in the rev range. Stock brake pads wore through like a bar of soap. The CD player died and was not easily replaced. I ended up selling the car with the CD player broken. Pity the poor sucker who got that car from the used car dealer that eventually sold it - I got top Black Book dollar for the car. This car and the GM dealers I interacted with swore me off North American GM products. Maybe a new Corvette or CTS-V, but I don't feel like paying that much money for a car.

Pros: I liked the styling.

Cons: Just about everything else that had to do with quality.

This Is An Ok Car Good For Transportation — when i first car i really only needed it to get through the nasty snow around here because obviously this car is very heavy it has a V6 engine so it had some pretty good power to it its handling was TERRIBLE it didn't turn for anyone very sluggish in that department very good in straight aways however the design of this car was nasty...and remains to be so throughout the years

Pros: V6 Engine power, Electronic windows, good for the snow (even if its fwd)

Cons: nasty design, sluggish handling, very big

My Olds — Beautiful Finish for its age. It has a few problems but they aren't from the factory.

Pros: Roomy, powerful off the line and on the road.

Cons: Kinda a gas hog, 50 dollar fill up.

Anti Lock Brakes Fail, And It Costs A Fortune To Fix. — Great engine, power and options. The anti lock brakes failed, the system is very complicated and costs about $5000 to fix. Don't get one.

Pros: engine, power and features

Cons: Mechanical failures add up fast.
