i should not have bought this thing i bought it cause it looked sweet it was doped out bigtime but it was a pure lemon not only does it guzzel gas but i was getting on the freeway and the trans went outApr 19, 2012

Performance- Completely stock and performs well for the the abuse it's been through. It handles real well on snow and ice, which is my main reason for keeping it. It has only been stuck once because we had over a foot of snow with an inch of ice underneath. Build quality- It does have a few problems because of the previous owner but it keeps going anyways. There is also some rust behind the wheel wells. Appearance- Not really the best looking car, but it was not designed for looks so I can deal with it. It can hold three passengers and cargo (such as a bike) with plenty of elbow room. With the back seats down, it can hold as much as a small truck with the protection of a camper shell. I can also put more on top of the cargo rack. Cost of ownership- It was only $800 to start with and repairs have totaled around $1000. It gets around 16 or 20 mpg so it's not too bad on gas. Fun factor- It doesn't have as much power as I want, but it is fun to drive off road and in the snow.Mar 30, 2011

Short wheel base is great for off road, supercharger helps spin the wheels whenever you want. Built like a rock! Has the classic square chevy styling to make it look tough. Extremely fun to drive offroad, and in the mud!Jan 12, 2011

idk its a car. rebuilt. from point a to b and then some. took me to Indiana from alabama. and its a salvage. so i suppose i cant complain. i only paid three thousand dollars for it. in the end Aug 06, 2010

Great in the snow and fun off-roading. pulled trees out w/no problem. i lifted this one 2 inches and put on 30x10.50 15 inch tires. the body rotts badly but ran great otherwise! the newer blazers had more problems then the other ones like this model.Jun 13, 2010

Performance: Runs like a champ for a 91. drove it halfway across the country and it did great. Appearance: It looks a little rough but it just needs a paint job. The Drive: A little bumpy but hey its a 91 blazer who would expect to muchApr 27, 2010

Power if sufficient with the 350 Throttle body injected small block. With solid front and rear axles offroad articulation is great. Its a 91 with 180,000 miles on it and still going strong. One of its best features is the top comes off.Mar 07, 2010

Good truck, looks good, works well, lots of power but body is rotten and needs some TLC. Hard on gas since I got 35" wheels on it. Very good mud truck, 3-speed transmission with a super low gear, you won't get stuck.Sep 24, 2009

in 1991 dad specially ordered everything about this truck, he wanted to be able to drive it to Arizona to see his first granddaughter being born that July. From then until dad died in 2006 it was always garaged and only driven to come and see us in Spearfish and Rapid. It drives like NEW!! It became mine in 2007 because mom can't drive anymore. Everytime I look at that truck I think of my dad...RIP dad!!!Jul 02, 2009

Although these are full size they handle great and are amazing off road. So many memories in these trucks, It seems almost eveyone in the family had one. The tranny overflowed the dipstick on my last one and it caught fire, no damage, I was on the highway when I noticed it, But the tranny was done, reverse was the only gear left, Two days later I got the recall notice!! Sold the truck. That was the only problem I had in any of the 4 that I have owned. The one was totally unstopable, I have gone almost everywhere in these. They are roomy and comfortable. I averaged about 24MPG in them, which is better than some cars I have driven and owned, They can tow a good size and what is better than spending the day out with your family and taking the roof off and just enjoying your time and the weather with them. 91 s10 blazer won't shift out of first gear

My 91 s10 with 4.3 700r4 won't shift out of first gear. I can't manually shift gears. Reverse works and the speedometer works fine. No engine codes. I changed fluid and filter. Some said the governor was bad so I changed that. Stil won't shift... help please

All right so here’s the deal I have a 91K5 Blazer TBI 350. I’ve replaced spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and still have no spark was working fine yesterday and now it will crank but will not fire any help?

Rough idle/ stalls. Map sensor

Ok, I've hit a wall on this one. Haven't had a chevy stump me like this yet. Customer brought this in, complaint was sudden loss of power. Ran like a top, then fell on its face. Engine would start, come up to high idle for about 3 seconds, then die. Stepping on throttle made no difference. Fathering throttle after getting it to start would get it to run very rough but timing advance was obviously off. General look over, needed new plugs, cap and rotor. Wires we're recently changed, and all ohm'd good. Made no change in running condition. Dig a little deeper into dist, found ign mod had rusty bolts, connector plugs corroded, mag pick up rusted but seemed ok. Replaced ign mod, no change. Replaced dist assembly, had to cut wire to try to set base timing, wouldn't idle well enough to set it proper. Moved on to map sensor, unplugged vacuum from sensor and plug vacuum to tbI and idle stabilized... Momentarily. Unplug elec connector from MAP and idle went to poo again. I've changed out EVERY elec sensor now with no change in drivability. I've pinned out the ECM voltages against the FSM values and I'm close enough to them that I don't see an issue from the minimal difference. We now have THREE test ECM's and now a new HYPERTECH prom chip. So heres my question. The only thing I do not understand is my ohm readings at A12 (system ground at ecm) is 4.5+/- ohms key off, and 62-78 ohms KOEO. Why the change? Same for D1 at ecm, and at D2 (MAP ground) I go from 5 ohm key off to 101.5 ohm key on. These readings are from ecm to bat neg post. Also, my MAP sensor voltage (C11) is only 4.08v key on. FSM says should be 4.8v. I've had 3 map sensors on it and they all read the same, and engine reacts the same when vacuum is applied. Runs until vacuum reaches 12", and voltage is about 1.4v, then more vacuum/less voltage and its sputters and dies. Engine holds a VERY steady 16" vacuum at idle. Help!!!!
