Power everything and the digital dash is cool but at the same time is a little scary. It would be great if the engine was larger(3.1). The sun roof/moon roof is a nice feature along with the four bucket seats. Lots of room for four people and cargo.

No big damage on the car. Acceleration and handling are awesome. Its had one battery replacement. Gas mileage is awesome. Better than most cars. 17,000 miles on car. Fun car to drive. It needs some work on the interior. But overall its a good car.Dec 25, 2008

Misfire
I have a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme WITH misfire on cylinder 2 and 5. I replaced plugs wires and Coil also crank sensor. I still have the misfire. the engine is a 3.1L. There is no engine light and it runs rough when in gear going to stall. I had the module tested and Im about to pull my hair out. I like this car. so I want to ask someone else if they have any problems. I basically repaired all the igntion side. what could be telling cylinder 2 and 5 not to fire? and Im sure the Coils are good. and all the parts. If someone out there can give me a hand that would be greatly appropriated

Pressing on gas pedal causes cut off
I have a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Recently it has started acting up to the point that I cant even drive it. When my car is in park, it runs perfectly fine. Ive just had a tune up done, all fluids are up to date, the works. When I put my car in gear & press the gas pedal, my car cuts off. It only happens when I press the gas pedal. Ive then had my fuel pump replaced, thinking that was the problem. Still did the same thing afterwards. So my next step was adding a throttle sensor. This didnt work either!! My car is still cutting off whenever I press the gas pedal. Can anyone help or offer advice?? :(

3.1 crankshaft .sensor ?
It's a 90 model won't start no fire. Anyway i won't to replace the crank sensor, I was reading that it was at the rear of the motor close to oilpan, is this correct? I put one on my moms that has the 3800 seris motor, it was behind the balancer. If so how hard are these to replace moms was pretty tuff for me anyway
