1989 Merkur XR4TiReview
Fun Second Car — Spark plug wires overheat and catch on fire. Great turbo, cornered well. Eight miles to a gallon, city. Not good uphill on interstate pickup. Surprisingly good in snow with proper tires. Extremely fun to drive! Expensive to maintain, but once you own one, you'll be hooked.
Primary Use: Commuting to work
Pros: Great turbo
Cons: Bad gas mileage
