1989 Jeep Cherokee Review
While it is definitely not a bad car, I would pick a Bronco II over it any day. The only advantage it has is it is more family oriented.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: two door 5 speed lifted 4.5" setting on 33x12.5 M/Ts light wight truly go any were only been pulled out twice

Cons: two door 5 speed lifted 4.5" setting on 33x12.5 M/Ts it dosnt like turns. if the sign tells you do 25 MPH you might want to do 20 MPH

Love My Jeep!! — 4.0 great motor, has been good to me!! Have had this for 7 years now, and is still my daily driver. Cargo room allows for larger hauling, and moving capicty. Kind bad on gas, but not as bad as some. Would always love to have a Jeep

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great hauling room

Cons: Gas Guzzler

Overall I Wouldn't Trade It For Anything You Can Keep Your Benzs Cause I Don't Want It!! — Awesome ride the inline 6 holds its own!! the quality is very good but it squeaks when I'm offroading the only rattling is the two tens in the back of it, gets great gas mileage! I love my jeep! great ride!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its a jeep! duh

Cons: Wish it had lockers !!

Bob The Jeep — Poor engineering caused sensor meltdown frequently. Bob did look good on the tow truck. The engine start sensors were located too close to the exhaust manifold and apparently could not be moved. They burned up frequently. I guess I should have known -- lost the tranny in Nevada on the first trip.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Powerful engine

Cons: Sensors in the worst possible places

Great Truck. Cheap And Easy To Maintain. Get One Above 1990. — Great Performance. Tough Engine but bad center of gravity. Flips easy. Has ABS Problems and costs too much to repair. Has a Closed Style cooling system from 1987-1990. Terrible idea and likes to overheat if a air pocket gets in. Fun to drive and has a great look.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great Look for a SUV and very tough.

Cons: Early ABS is terrible and hard to work on. Closed Style Cooling system is terrible.

Primary Use: Commuting to work
