It's really freaking ugly. however it does corners. that's about it. Supposedly black, but the primer is scraping off and it's always dirty. expensive due to gas, but not much on maintanance. or oil. or cool stuff.Terrible turning radius. got it for free from parents. Verdict: demolition derby. It can be fun, except the e-brake is starting to wear out, which lowers the fun factor.Aug 10, 2008

I love my Legend. It's got everything, almost from a new car lol. The manual tranny are fun to drive around, sometimes the auto tranny is fun too, but they need a lot of attention if you don't take good care of it. But it's still a beautful car once you start adding some mods.Aug 06, 2008

However, I still have to grow on it . It is a foreign made car which means the parts are a little more expensive. I have to get used to driving it , get to know the car a little better.May 08, 2008

One of the best cars I've ever owned! Sleek, clean and in minty condition. This is the car I've owned the longest before selling to my cousin who trashed it. Tan cloth interior, 5 speed manual. If I could find another in as perfect a condition, I wouldn't hesitate.Jan 09, 2008

Broke Camshaft
My roommate and I bought a cheap 88 legend to get around for jobs at college. It didn't run but it was in great shape. After a bunch of tests we ended up taking the valve cover off and the camshaft is broke. It's the front camshaft. The left side spins, and it broke right down the middle. What lead us to this was the distributor rotor wasn't spinning. We also checked the main relay and that was fried. My question is how should we go about fixing this. We might as well just get a front cylinder head, but im worried it might happen again. We were wondering how we check what caused it. How likely it would happen again, how to make sure it doesn't happen again or if the motor isn't worth it at this time.

headlights high and low beam not working, relays not problem
1988 Legend LS 5 speed with 360,000 miles. I have new high beam and low beam relays. Bulbs are good, parking lights work, checked Fuses all good. Headlights high and low beam will not come on
