Classic — Classic muscle car; with some T.L.C it will be a beauty. A diamond in the rough. 1986 Buick Regal Limited 2 door coupe in need of some work done. But so far nothing major. Impressive for a vehicle of it's age.

Pros: powerful heavier built vehicle.

Cons: being a classic car it is of course in need of some $ put into it.

Great First Vehicle For A Kid. — This was a great first car to own. As a kid I had the best car in the school lot. It was a beauty. Classic lines and sleek styling made this car slightly sexy. The downside to this coupe is the large steel doors would freeze in the winter, and the windows had no frames, so driving on the highway at speeds over 50 would result in the glass bending outward.

Pros: Sturdy construction, steel bumpers

Cons: rear wheel drive, v8 gas guzzler, and door issues.

Good Sporty Looking Car For A Usually Low Price. — 3.8 V6 was strong built motor, plenty of power and decent gas mileage. Lots of interior room, even with front seats almost all the way back. Car was big but still fun to drive. Plenty of trunk space, lots of room underhood to work on the engine.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Awesome styling, excellent sound and performance.

Cons: Plastic around grille and bumpers tends to break easily.

86 Buick Regal Limited — I know some ppl thinking I'm crazy bout this choice but this was to be my project car...nothing big like 26" rims or nothing just wanted to bring it back to original condition, maybe some exhaust pipe upgrade and possibly a new crate motor if I ever got that far. Anyway the car was dependable never left me stranded unless I ran out of gas. Previous owner garaged it a few years till he saw my trade offer for my Maxima that needed work. Drove the car to SC from NY that year with no issues, cruising at 80-85+ and it drives....well pretty much like a Buick. Suprisingly the car is very powerful...in a towing type of way. My friends car got stuck in College point and I pushed his Altima all the way to Ozone Park (about 10 miles) doing 40MPH never lost a breath LOL

Pros: Body style, 5.0 Olds V8

Cons: No Temp gauge, Accuracy of the fuel needle would never really tell when u really really have to get gas, or lack of low fuel warning. Basically at half tank, refuel the car

Regal With Turbo V6 — well, you either love these cars or you don't realize they exist. If you have the turbo V6, you are impressed by the performance, but it isn't a super car (in unmodified form), but I definitely enjoy driving it! Well, we are talking about a 20 year old car, there willl be issues one way or another, but all Buick owners agree that this car is best bang for the buck!

Pros: not a "belly button" car...

Cons: hard to find parts

33mpg And Smoke The Tires At 30mph! — A 3500 lb car is not supposed to smoke the tires at 30 mph with a 3.8l engine, but this one puts you back in the seat like the big blocks of 1970. Fantastic accleration from a dead stop although you usually had to backpedal to keep from lighting up the Goodyear Eagles. Plan your stops early because the disc/drum brakes and gobs of understeer remind you that this is a straight line hauler and not a sports car. 0-60 times with 4 adults were under 8 secs!.....and with T-roof or climate control A/C make the shortcomings well worth it.

Pros: Great styling and bullet-like acceleration

Cons: Unequal A-arms and coils in rear remind you of its heritage

Regal T Types Are Amazing Cars! — Many Luxury Items were available and all of them work well. These cars are solid and can take whatever abuse is thrown at them. The performance is outstanding, the Buick Turbo 6 is a very well-engineered engine, very tuneable and it has lots of potential. The suspension setup is great having all the best of the G body parts plus quick ratio steering and some heavy dudty sway bars.

Pros: Amazing performace in a "normal" looking package. A wolf in sheeps clothing.

Cons: Braking, the powerbooster brakes of the turbo regals could be alot better. I would recommend converting to a vaccuum opreated setup.

This car is over 30 years old and still rides like a dream. It is still stylish and performs very well. Im always getting offers to sell it. Hard to give up such a nice classic!
