This Car Was Great During College — I loved my Scirocco. Bought it new and drove it all through college. It was truly a great driving car. stylish, fast, ways to maintain. I went well over 120,000 miles with little maintenance costs. One of my first true love cars. Pros: Stylish and reliable for years. Cons: Not a family car, but I was not a family man. ![]() Looking for a Used Scirocco in your area?CarGurus has 1 nationwide Scirocco listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

If You Are Water Cooled Vw Fan This Can Not Be Missing In Your Garage — as a stock vehicle it is extremely dependable great on gas millage sporty looking and at its time very fast 1985 this car was designed by the same person who designed the infamous Delorian (back to the future) it holds alot of history behind it lots of use in rally, drag, cirquit and much more to me a master piece of its time Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: great car Cons: none |

Amazing — The beauty and style of the sleek looking machine is just amazing to my eyes. It turns heads when driving, and even though it only has around 100 hp it still manages to pull it's own. The sport suspension makes worlds of difference. You can actually pivot the wheels pitch for a more adjustable ride. With all this i still manage to get 27 mpg highway/town combo. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Looks, milage, sensation of driving. Cons: electrical nightmare |

Great Car For The Go Anywhere Kind Of Person, But Really Just A Two Person Car. — I've had a Vw Scirocco for 4 years as my daily driver and I absolutely love it. The handling is crisp, the acceleration to 40 still is good enough to stomp most vehicles at red lights. And the off-road drive-ability is impressive. The road clearance and tough suspension allows all kinds of driving conditions. Easily I have driven the car on back dirt roads in excess of 55 mph with little trouble. The car just eats up the back roads. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Peppy acceleration, light weight, great vehicle balance, and crisp steering Cons: Only gets about 20-22 mpg, acceleration dies out once 60 mph is obtained, and the back seat is puny |

"85 Rocco" Project — This is only a project car for me and it is not street legal, so I have had very little driving experience with it. What little driving I have done with it, I loved it. I took it to around 80 once but the car didn't even have seat belts at the time. I cornered some intersections around 30 and I probably would've gone faster had the car had seat belts and the radiator not been sitting in the back ready to smash into something. It is a beautiful car as well. I only wish I could put this on the road because it would be a sensation. Pros: fun project, great handling Cons: lack of motivation :) |
