1985 Mercury LynxReview

Good Engine If Built Correctly — I've got an 85 lynx with a 1.9. Station wagon. Not quite enough power for it's size. I'm impressed over all though. This engine is quite a trooper. When I got ahold of it it was getting about 6-10 mpg. The engine was rebuilt 3 months before that.(supposedly) There was 4 different spark-plug cables one being the original from 1985 (arguably) the vacuume lines are cut and plugged off and wires fried. I'm getting 20mpg now and i'm looking to boost it more.
