I loved the fact that you don't see many on the road and it is easy to work on. No diagnostic equipment is needed; parts are easy to come by because they are interchangeable with the F150's. I just wished I had more time and money to restore it to it's original beautySep 11, 2014

Although I no longer own the truck, it will always hold a spot in my heart, for its' heart! It had the 351 HO and limited slip in BOTH axeles. It never let me down!It was VERY hard to get stuck and pulled out more 4X4's than I could count.I had the baseline Custom with hose out interior and had to after playing in the mud! It was a big truck and liked the gas pump! 12-13 mpg..But I LOVED that old truck!!I used this for everything! Towing,commuting, off road, pulling out trees and shrubs, etc.Feb 03, 2011

Had ok performace, turns on a dime, vapor locked when it was warm out until the exahaust got modified, would not pass emmisions inspection, horrible gas mileage, lokked good inside and out, its a blast to drive with the top and doors off. back window didnt work. 4 wheel drive didnt work.Aug 12, 2010

It's a V6, built ford tough and waiting to be driven away. Has a bit of rust on the body and a cracked windshield, but runs fine. Needs work on the rear hatch. A good beginners vehicle. Fun to take out to the bush for a drive. Fuel mileage hasn't been tested yet and maintenance is relatively simple.Jun 24, 2010

this thing is a beast!! pushin 600 horses to all 4 wheels!!! golf cart gas tank!! who needs seatbelts or floors for that matter? doors dont close but thats what nails and wood currently do... less windows= better A/CNov 08, 2009

I bought this used. I sued the guy who sold it to
me for fraudulent advertising and won the case. I
have yet to see a dime.
I'm not going to review the vehicle. I had an
excellent mechanic help me with the repairs. A guy
who used to build race cars back in the day. He
rebuilt the truck from top to bottom.
I went 4 wheeling often. I had a lot of fun in this
vehicle. But I can't give it a true review because it

performance - sluggish but strong
quality - so many repairs, causing a love hate relationship, but body and chassis are indestructible
appearance - shes a beaut, patriot blue with blue interior
cost - 8mpg on a good day and atleast a quart of oil a month
fun - cant be measured, she can go anywhere and everywhere as long as you have the gas to get there..May 08, 2009

i love my truck except the headaches when it is always breaking down. its a all around fun truck but a big hobby toy. only paid $450 for it and stuck roughly $4,000 into it. but i got big plans in the future for it. a neew motor, tranny, and dual exhaust plus bigger lift and tires going into it.Dec 24, 2008

This war gave you a good bird's-eye view of the road. The construction was mostly solid... however, I do remember that after a few years, the joints connecting the front seats to the car corroded and caused the seats to partially detatch. This doesn't make me feel as if this car is worthy by today's road-safety standards. The car was also a gas guzzler, however it was not as big as some trucks that are out and about today... yet it still felt comfortably big.Jul 08, 2008

I bought this truck as a certified POS to make it better. I ran it for one year as I bought it where it was a constant let down. The only part that didn't have problems was the transmission. I still had a lot of fun with it. Look for the updated photos once the rebuild is complete.Jan 25, 2008

i have a 1985 bronco ii and when i start it it makes a grinding noise just when i go to start it. when it runs it is fine. We pulled the starter and checked the flywheel and you can see where it is nicked but im not missing any teeth. the starter had shavings in it. Replaced the starter once it was fine for the first couple starts then sttarted grinding again. any sugjestions?
1985 bronco ii. 5-speed, 4x4, half year so some parts are 1984 and some are 1985.
