Bought this used a couple of years ago, did some neglected maintenance and use it daily. Kinda gutless right now, I need to check to see if the timing is 180 degrees off. A/C lugs the car so bad at idle, it almost dies. Interior needs serious TLC. I agree with others that the electrical system is flaky on this car, but overall, it is a decent vehicle. I call it my Poor Man's Delorean.Jun 29, 2011

Love the car to bits, great handling, fast and comfy. Brakes are a bit shoddy. Has no squeaks/rattles. K-jetronic engine is ridiculously economic! A VW Scirocco (mk2 and mk1) are insanely fun to drive even as standard! I'd say get one and enjoy!Apr 05, 2010
