1983 Honda PreludeReview
Almost A Classic Car! — paid $250 for this car, spent probably $2000 in parts, and still it was unreliable and unregisterable (smog check). I liked it, but it taught me a lesson about buying used cars! Just spend more money upfront to save in the long run!
Pros: nice handling, close to the ground--you feel more 'one with the road'
Cons: problems with the vacuum lines, rarely made it out of second gear, couldn't pass smog
