Expensive Chevy Cavalier — I owned this car for five years and lost it in a collision with a deer. My single biggest complaint was that the quality left something to be desired, had to have the trunk lid repainted in less then a year and had a host of those little problems that drive you nuts, but the dealer did indeed take care of them. My son had hoped to get this one as his first car, but a New Jersey deer ended his dream!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I had the "D'Oro" model, Sable Black with fawn interior and gold trim.  Looked very elegant.  Very plush interior (for 1983) with leather seats.  Very comfortable car and handled amazing well because GM's F41 handling package was standard. Under powered engine but good gas mileage

Cons: Very expensive for what was basically a cavalier.  Very, very under powered. Mine had a 4 cylinder engine, I am sure the V-6 was much better.
