1983 AMC EagleReview

It's The Speagle! — The 1983 AMC Eagle SX/4 comes with a pontiac Iron Horse 2.5l L-4, 4 wheel drive and a 4 speed manual transmission. Oh, and the Millennium Falcon effect. One look at it and you gain an instant 10 points with the ladies.

Pros: Rare, unique and individual. And built out of pure old fashioned American Steel.

Cons: Nothing

1983 AMC EagleReview

The Meanest 4x4 Car Ever Devised. — Way too much fun. Handling is amazing considering the 3600lbs. Drive train stands up to anything. Viscous coupled transfer case provides clean limited slip differential for excellent grab on any terrain. Also jumps like a champ (realised way too late I was the wrong way on a one way road, and the only way to the right lane, was a 7 foot drop over a curb. Jumped, landed on front right wheel, kept going.

Pros: Lots of low end torque, the I6 254 will run on two cylinders and get you home.  4x4 is unmatched even against a new Rubicon.  Everything is designed to be slightly weaker while in reverse, so odds are good if you smash something, It'll die while you're backing up as opposed to while you're screaming down a hill.  Very easy to mod.  Lots of solid frame onto which to weld.

Cons: 3600lbs.  Requires a lot of aftermarket parts to make it reliably fun.
