1982 AMC Spirit Review
1982 Amc Spirit Hatchback W/4-cylinder Engine — Awful acceleration. This vehicle was built to take up to an 8-cyl engine but mine had a 4-cyl; coming up to speed while entering highways was a dicy affair. But, I have to say it was very reliable for a carburated vehicle that transported me during my college years in the Great White North of the Michigan UP! Not a pretty vehicle but it had a hatchback that made transporting unusual stuff very easy!
Primary Use: Commuting to work
Cons: Acceleration and appearance
