Awsome Car — This car is been good since I got it. just keep the maintenance on point (oil change, air filter, fuel filter, wheel rotation, brakes replaced) and replaced the wheel, from original 13" to 14" (wow!! hahaha) bottle cap off my old E30. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: This Scirocco has a 3 speed automatic transmission. I bought car in november 2013 with only 49xxx. Cons: it has an automatic trans an it is slow but I guess is all good ![]() Looking for a Used Scirocco in your area?CarGurus has 3 nationwide Scirocco listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

German Engineering At Its Best — All around excellent performance and styling, Italian design with German engineering. All mechnical harmony with little electronics in the way these engines are near bullet proof! These cars are like go carts on winding roads with mearly a good set of shocks and springs Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Fahrvergnügen Cons: Not exactly build for safety. |

One Of The Greatest Cars Ever Made! — PERFORMANCE- it's front wheel drive, so the zero to sixty time isn't amazing. However, what it may lack in acceleration it makes up for in the corners. The car is VERY light and it is flat through the corners. Steering feels heavy and you get good response from the road. There is no power steering but I don't miss it at all. BUILD QUALITY- It's German... it will survive the nuclear holocaust APPEARANCE- SEX COST- I paid $700 for it. It weighs nothing, it has a 1.7 titre engine, the gas is very cheap and if you drive normally, it just sips the fuel. FUN- well... It's light, flat through the corners and it's a scirocco... very fun! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: People often say a Mk1 GTI is the greatest car in the world... People also often say "why drive a GTI when you could drive a Scirocco" MK1 sciroccos are amzing. Cons: less room than a GTI |

1981 Vw Scirocco — What a car! I bought my '81 'rocco from a friends' brother who was the second owner. I don't recall the mileage (kilometers actually) on the car when I bought it, but that didn't matter 'cause it was in great shape both inside and out. I still have the car, bought in when I graduated from university in' 85. I haven't started it in a few years but that doesn't matter. It will again some day soon. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: I haven't driven it in years! |

Vw Sciroco Gtii By Tony2259
The mark II Scirocco is possibly the most under rated of all VWs. Picked up for less than the price of a night on the p1ss, the reliable old Rocco will, if looked after, run forever. This is certainl... Read More

I'm Incredibly Sorry I Sold It... By GermanCarFanMA
