Performance - its an old classic with a slant 6, not that powerful. braking is ok, and handling not so good.
Build Quality - very solid, engine built great.
Appearance - for '78, looking great! no rust.
Just needs and aauuuugga horn and your good to go!Mar 06, 2009

My 1980 Aspen has 287,000 miles on it currently. I bought it used for $1,000.
The engine has lost compression due to its age, but runs like a top. The retro look of the exterior (virtually rust free to this day) and the fabric choices for the interior(immaculate condition) of baby blue and brown are hot hot retro styling!Feb 24, 2009

Its from when I grew up, I always wanted one and now I've owned it for four years, its not for everyone, but I enjoy it.
It gets better gas milage then today's suv's, it was an economy car when it was new and it cost so little to fix - most days.Oct 15, 2008
