More Power, More Fun — I have always loved the raw, un refined sports car look of the tr6. the larger wheels are perfect for the look. it brings back memories when I was younger, and had friends with Austin healeys bugeye sprites and mg's. the handling is second to none.

Pros: like the mg, a blast to drive

    Cons: electrics

Simple Two Seater Roadster Fun In A Timeless Classic Design. — The car's performance acceleration, braking are adequate. The connection between car, driver and road are exceptional. The handling is excellent for a 70's vintage roadster. It all adds up to incredible fun. And it seems every day someone is giving a thumbs up or stopping to compliment the car's design and style. The TR6 puts a smile on the driver's face and everyone around him.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A throw back to a simpler time when car and driver were one and every mile of roading was total enjoyment.   The sound of the inline six is beyond description as you blast through the curves with top down.   You can do all of your own basic maintenance and parts are readily available and reasonably priced from Moss, British Victoria, Rimmer, e-Bay.

Cons: No creature comforts, no AC, no advanced nav or sound systems.  It's a 37 year old car so expect relatively frequent hiccups and repairs.

A Blast To Drive, Especially If Modified — car is tight, ok for a 6 footer , not much will fit in the boot. parts are still relatively inexpensive and the car is very simple. Most diy'ers can maintain themselves. I own several of them and own my first one for over 25 years

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: lots of fun , convertible, what's not to like?

Cons: can be troublesome if not properly sorted

Awesome British 2 Seater Convertible — A little lacking in acceleration and handling and no so realiable due to Lucas electronics which fail all the time and very prone to rust. We had to take the body off and repair the frame and restore the whole car and it's been over 8 years and still isn't done yet. 'someday' it'll ride again.

    Pros: Awesome looking

Cons: reliability and performance not quite what you'd expect
